JAMES LANKFORD UNITED STATES SENATOR - OKLAHOMA James Lankford serves Oklahomans. He served four years in the US House of Representatives for central Oklahoma, until he was overwhelmingly elected to the US Senate in 2014.
Before his service in Congress, James served students and families for more than 20 years in ministry, including 15 years as the Director of Student Ministry for the Baptist Convention of Oklahoma and Director of the Falls Creek Youth Camp, the largest youth camp in the United States, with more than 51,000 individuals attending each summer. He has also been recognized by many other organizations for his work toward increased personal freedom, economic growth, and religious liberty. NIKKI NICE OKLAHOMA CITY COUNCILWOMAN - WARD #7 Councilwoman Nikki Nice was elected Nov. 6, 2018, to serve as Ward 7’s representative on the Oklahoma City Council. She’s the 10th woman, and the second woman of color to serve on the Council since the City’s incorporation in 1890. A fourth-generation Oklahoman, Councilwoman Nice was born, reared, educated and spiritually nurtured in Ward 7. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcasting from historic Langston University. She has studied abroad in The Gambia and Dakar, Senegal, in West Africa. Councilwoman Nice is a well-known television and radio personality with nearly 15 years of on-air experience in the OKC market.

From CFO to Interim President, and many other hats in between, Erin Goodin has taken on official leadership of City Rescue Mission as President & CEO. For her, the transition isn’t just about being a leader within the walls of her office, it’s about being a leader in the community and the leader in homeless services in Oklahoma City. A large part of that vision is to serve more people in ways that lead to their long-term stability. For Erin, and her team, that means collaboration.
PASTOR RODNEY FOUTS LEAD PASTOR - NORTH.CHURCH Pastor Rodney and Shannon Fouts dreamed of planting a church with a simple goal: helping people love God, love people, and follow Jesus. From the beginning, NORTH.CHURCH focused on reaching out to the non-churched by building relationships. In its first year, the church grew to 125 people in weekly attendance and 55 people committed their lives to Christ. Today, hundreds of people attend their weekend experiences and groups all over the metro and Guthrie. God is doing something special.

For more than sixty years, City Rescue Mission has helped the homeless and near homeless in the Oklahoma City metro. Instead of indefinite shelter, we offer a clean, safe, temporary place to stay and successful programs and services to help people transform their lives for the better. A hot meal and safe place to stay are just the beginning. We’re the first stop on the path back to hope.
