INTRODUCCION En 1936 existía todavía en la casa parroquial de la iglesia de San Pedro el Viejo, de la ciudad de Huesca, un pequeño cartulario que había tenido el raro privilegio de no ser conocido por los numerosos eruditos que pasaron por aquel depósito: ninguno de los coleccionistas de documentos, tan activos desde el siglo XVIII, y tampoco autor alguno del siglo XIX lo mencionaba. Tiene particular interés el silencio del catálogo que Manuel ABBAD LASIERRA redactó en 1772 de los cartularios existentes en los archivos de la pro­ vincia eclesiástica tarraconense 1, donde se consignan todos los ahora conocidos, sin que se aluda al de Fanlo. El cartulario de Fanlo tampoco lo cita Ramón de HUESCA 2. Este silencio de nume­ rosos investigadores prueba que este cartulario hacía tiempo que se había extraviado en el desorden que padeció en otras épocas el archivo de esta iglesia parroquial oscense, o bien que custodiado celosamente por alguno de los señores párrocos, los visitantes oca­ sionales no tuvieron oportunidad de consultarlo. Barc., 49: 313-324 Barcelona, 2003313 UN PAISAJE PIRENAICO DE PRADOS Y PASTOS: CAMBIOS RECIENTES Y PERSPECTIVAS Federico FILLAT1 ABSTRACT A Pyrenean landscape of meadows and pastures: Recent changes and perspectives Pastures and meadows of the Pyrenees might be considered as semi-natural herbaceous communities that, in a short time, may be considered as types strongly related with the conservation. Several international organizations, as well as the European and the Spanish autonomic governments, have realized the big interest of these communities under this double point of view. Studies carried on the soil seed bank and on the origin of the current meadows flora, show a strong relationship between diversity and the mosaic landscape organization. The study of the superfi- cial (10 cm) soil seed bank has showed a species composition related with the current meadows flora, but in deeper soil we find seeds of typical open communities as a tra- ce of old cereal fields. Pastures occupy old forestry surfaces and it is necessary to calculate accurately the livestock capacity, distributed between different animal species and breed types through several seasons and surfaces. The new tourist demands originate new perspectives in the communal pastures. To adequate the combined development, avoiding the prevalence of certain demands to the detriment of the others, will be the challenge for the next years.
