Handler/Fetish CYOA v2.2 You meet a stranger whose face you can't see. She explains to you that she is the "Handler", a being with the ability to manipulate people's minds, interpersonal relationships and society. She is usually fair and doesn't abuse her powers too much, but lately she's been really bored and wants to have some fun. So she offers you a deal: you pick one or more of the following "Fetishes" she has, and you can use the gained points to acquire boons from her in the same deal. You get to choose beforehand how long the deal should last. You get the boons while the deal is in effect, or if the deal lasts for at least 10 years, you get the boons permanently. You can also make multiple deals. You can delay when deals start (though of course you won’t get boons from it until it starts). You can only pick each Fetish once across all your deals, you can’t “reuse them”. You also have to make your deals now, before your first deal takes effect. tl;dr: You can make deals. Each deal has a start time, a length, one or more fetishes, and zero or more boons. You can’t pick the same Fetish in two different deals. How do you use this opportunity? Clarifications For each Fetish you pick, the Handler changes how society views you specifically such that people will think it's completely normal for you to be engaged in activities related to that Fetish, even in public. She'll also make them expect you to act out those Fetishes in some way or form. The description of each Fetish is just stuff the Handler thought up already, over time she might add or change rules depending on her mood, though it'll always be related to that Fetish. Once your deal(s) end, everyone turns back to normal. They’ll still remember everything that happened, but won’t know why it happened. You may at any point extend the length of a deal, but you can’t gain boons from doing so. Any significant other, girlfriend, boyfriend, or casual sex partner you may have will especially expect you to do activities related to these Fetishes. Your family is an exception, however, you won't be expected to do any of these things with them, unless you also pick Incest as a Fetish. They'll still think it's normal for you to do these things, and expect you to do them with others. The Handler will keep track of you, so if you pick Fetishes and then live reclusively or try to get out of having to participate in any other way, she'll consider it as you having broken your end of the bargain, and will put you through hell using her powers. Doing activity that a Fetish requires you to do instead of something else that you're supposed to do is an extenuating circumstance, it's fine even if you're late to work because of it, though there's a limit to this that you'll have to find out. Category I Fetishes Each gives you 2 points. If you pick hard mode for a Fetish, it gives an additional 1 point. If you pick easy mode, it gives 1 less point. If there are two hard modes, you can pick any one or both. Same for two easy modes. Exhibitionism Can't be picked together with Petplay. At random times, random people you know will expect you to strip down, give them all your clothes and stuff, and not have them returned until you do some tasks for them. They might involve other people to make them help out with these tasks. However, anyone not involved will still be shocked to find you naked, since it wouldn't be exhibitionism without the thrill of being found. It's not illegal for you to be naked in any circumstance, though. If you refuse to go along with a play like this, the person who wants you to do so will be offended. Easy mode: People now don’t really mind you having been naked when you’re clothed. They’ll still be appalled when you’re exposed, but once you’re covered again, they’ll go back to treating you normally. Chastity Can't be picked together with Forced to Orgasm. People now consider keeping you in chastity an important topic, roughly comparable to environmental change. More specifically, their goal is to keep you controlled regardless of what you want or do. You're not expected to hold yourself back, but people will try to do so, even going as far as holding fundraisers for getting you the best chastity devices possible. If you don't comply with their requests, they'll enact harsher measures. People will also casually inspect you every once in a while. You do get to orgasm, though. How often and how much is decided by public opinion, which is swayed by a lot of factors, including your overall behaviour and presidential candidates' campaign promises. At the start, you’re let out on Sundays. Easy mode: You’re guaranteed to be let out once a week, for at the very least five minutes. The quality and length of your “freedom time" is still up for debate, though. Hard mode: You orgasming is now seen as a national threat. However, your government will do some super secret “weapon testing” with you, which involves making you orgasm. Usually in a secret bunker far away from civilisation, just to be safe. At the start, these tests happen once a month. Petplay Can't be picked together with Exhibitionism or Monster girl/boy. You pick a kind of animal. When in public, people now act like you're a pet animal of that kind. If you do things the given animal wouldn't, they'll act like you're a misbehaving pet. For example, if you pick dog and walk around on the street, people will be wondering why you're not leashed, but they'll also be angry towards you for wearing human clothes and for not being on all fours. You aren’t considered a pet in private, at your workplace, or when visiting health professionals. Even when considered a pet, killing or abusing you is also considered the same as killing or abusing a person. Locking you up though, e.g. in an animal shelter, is completely legal. Oh, and picking whale and then lying down on a beach is not a good idea. Easy mode: You're considered a trained performance animal of some sort. You can get away with more now, because it's part of the show. Hard mode: Now you’re considered a pet even in private. Slavery You get to pick someone as your owner at first, but once the deal starts, you can be sold, rented out, and so on. You are expected to live with your owner and do what they tell you to do. Your owner won’t care too much about what you personally want, they’ll make you do things for their own gain (like ordering you to make them a sandwich), though they’ll still be required to keep you well. They can punish you if they’re not content with you. Any income you have is now technically theirs, though they’ll get in trouble if they spend it on things that benefit them more than it benefits you. You’re also supposed to show off your subservience to them in several respects, so you’ll be made to wear worse clothes and sleep in a more demeaning position than them, among other things. Feet You can't greet people normally any more. If you do, it's seen as weird. From now on, people expect you to greet them by kneeling down before them, letting them take one of their feet out of their shoes, and kissing it. Of course, this is like a handshake, so if their feet are dirty, they won't expect you to do it. Not greeting people will alienate them, of course. People you're attracted to will also consider you worshipping their feet for hours as a kind of date. Hard mode: You’ll be expected to massage the feet of people near you when you’re free. Teasing Can't be picked together with Forced sex or Forced to orgasm. People who you find at least moderately attractive will now tease you, and this is completely normal and expected now. Even if someone caresses your genitalia in public right next to their significant other, no one will bat an eyelid. They won't go further than teasing though, and you doing things like masturbating publicly or not respecting the limits of people who tease you is still improper and illegal. If there aren’t enough such people, the criteria about attraction will be loosened over time. Hard mode: You’ll constantly have people casually checking whether you're aroused, and seeking to correct the problem if you're not. Bondage You're now expected to let yourself be restrained whenever someone wants to restrain you. The "Damsel in distress" game, with you being the titular "damsel", is now a common pastime and a nationwide television sensation. First a team captures you (usually at least a week after the end of your last capture, but it's random, and can range from minutes to a month), then while they keep you tied up but otherwise well, the other team playing the game looks for you.
