17.2 S on Dorfstraße; follow road to River Eider. 1420m

17.3 Continue up to T-junction; R on Hauptstraße through Breiholz to foot of hill at bus 1770m stop Am Sportplatz .

There is a small supermarket just north of the start of the section. Occasional buses running between Rendsburg and Hamdorf serve the bus stop.

From the bus stop beside the 17.2 church, walk to the south on Dorfstraße, crossing to its right-hand pavement at a suitable location. Follow the road out of Breiholz playground the village to cross the bridge over the River Eider. on the bank of the Eider Note on the right the Breiholz playground, with a slide which runs straight into the river.

Continue up the road from the river to the T-junction at the top. Turn right, and follow the road (rather grandly 17.3 named Hauptstraße) through the village. At the bott om of the hill, you will reach a bus shelter on the left: this is the bus stop named Am Sportplatz .

This point marks the end of this section of the Nord-Ostsee-Wanderweg.

Buses run between this point and Rendsburg.
