SIBERIAN ROE DEER HUNTING IN RUSSIA

Region: Kurgan region (near Chelyabinsk & Yekaterinburg, by the northern border with Kazakhstan). Hunting base camps (there are 4 of them) are located 200-480 km away from Yekaterinburg. Rut season: August 25 - September 16 (trophy limit up to 2 animals). Autumn season: October 01-31. Hunting tour & group size: 6 hunting days, 2-7 hunters, no limit for non-hunters. Accommodation: hunting lodge with sauna. Way of hunting: 1x1, with 1 vehicle per hunter. Searching with jeep and stalking on feet. Ambush hunting in the evenings. Climate: August/September +10 ºC – +20ºC (day), +5 ºC – +10ºC (night); October 0 ºC – +10ºC (day), -5 ºC – +5ºC (night). Necessary stuff: rubber boots, mosquito repellent (August/September), binoculars, roe call (“Buttolo”), rifle incl. optics with 7-8 mm caliber.

Siberian roe deer trophy fees (according to Hunting price from/to Yekaterinburg per hunter – weight of antlers with upper jaw 24 hours after 1950 EUR boiling): Non-hunter price – 1300 EUR Up to 700 g EUR 800,- 701–800 g EUR 1 000,- Price includes: 801 – 900 g EUR 1 150,-  Meeting and transportation from Yekaterinburg airport to 901 – 1000 g EUR 1 350,- hunting camp and back; 1001 – 1100 g EUR 1 500,- 1101 – 1200 g EUR 1 700,-  Rifle import/export permits for Russia; 1201 – 1300 g EUR 1 900,-  Organization of the hunt; More than 1301 g EUR 2 150,-  Accommodation & meals during the hunt; Penalty for wounded animal – 550 EUR  Trophy preparation for export;  Veterinary certificate for export.

Not included:  Rifle import/export permits from/to country of residence;  Flights to Yekaterinburg and back;  Russian visa;  Insurance;  Gratuities to guides and personal;  Baggage overweight during air flights;  Shipping of trophies to hunter’s country;  Customs procedures.

Payment schedule: Deposit upon booking – 700 EUR. Final payment Wild boar trophy fees: not later than 2 months before hunt (including full payment for Up to 14 cm EUR 470,- organisation and 2 roe deer trophies up to 700 g) – 2850 EUR. 14,1 - 16 cm EUR 590,- Payments for trophies more than 700 g and for additional trophies 16,1 - 18 cm EUR 710,- must be paid in cash after the hunt when the trophies are evaluated. 18,1 - 20 cm EUR 900,- More than 20,1 cm EUR 1050,- Price for trophy of European moose (if taken) (weight of antlers +12 EUR for each mm with upper jaw): Up to 10 kg – 2500 EUR.
