Mrs. Viall, Richmond – Town Lot known here before her marriage as Miss Ada Smith, Wallace Osborn, is prostrated with the same. She is granddaughter of Mr. Timothy Brooks, of this Probate Notice city. --Mrs. L. D. Frost (Amy Wetherell) died at her home in Minneapolis, Jan. 6th of typhoid pneumonia. She was the niece of Mr. Frederick Wilkes and sister of Mrs. Maria Rosa of this place. She left a husband and five children. Sixtieth Anniversary Jan. 8th a company assembled at the home of Mr. Alonzo Orcutt, in Perry, to celebrate his 60th birthday. Local Brevities Weather: Last Friday, Jan. 7th, the temperature Jan. 13, 1887 Thursday was 14 degrees below zero. Two nights since p. 3 have been nearly as cold. --Mrs. Lucia Marshall Packard died at her home in Hartford, Conn., Jan. 9th, 1887, age 74 yrs.
