Mykonos Taverna became the icon of Greek cuisine in Melbourne. Ouzos Taverna, The Greek Spot & Paralies Taverna soon followed. In 1987 their family moved to Perth where the original Greek Taverna in North Bridge quickly became one of the most popular eateries in Perth. This restaurant won “Best European Restaurant” three years in a row. In 1997 the family moved to tropical Cairns. One year later, George, Eleni and young Natalie established Fettas Greek Taverna. The restaurant soon became a local favourite for European cuisine and has been featured on the television shows The Great Outdoors, Out of the Blue & has also received the Award of Excellence from TripAdvisor.
