Aggiornamento Piano d’Ambito dell’A.T.O. di Bergamo Inquadramento territoriale Capitolo 1 1.4 Distribuzione della popolazione e delle attività produttive La struttura e la dinamica della popolazione sono elementi fondamentali per un corretto dimensionamento del Piano d’Ambito, pertanto risulta di notevole interesse l’analisi dei dati statistici scaricati dalla banca dati dell’ISTAT. Al 01.01.2013 la Provincia di Bergamo conta una popolazione di 1.094.062 abitanti, suddivisa in 244 Comuni (ora 242) e corrispondente al 11% della popolazione regionale. TERNA FREES THE PARCO DELLE OROBIE BERGAMASCHE AND THE PROVINCE OF BERGAMO OF 56 KM OF OLD POWER LINES By 2020 Terna will demolish around 200 electricity pylons in the Bergamo area 23 municipalities within the province will benefit from the liberation of over 140 hectares of land Rome, 12 September 2018 - Terna continues its rationalisation of the Lombardy electricity lines to make them more efficient, secure and sustainable, demolishing around 56 km of old power lines and 200 electricity pylons in the province of Bergamo, some of which are located in highly valued areas of natural interest, like the Parco delle Orobie Bergamasche. The demolition works that Terna plans to complete by 2020 have been made possible with the entry into service of the 132 kV Stazzona -Verderio line, following significant modernisation works, and will generate positive results for the local communities by liberating around 140 hectares of land in the province of Bergamo. 23 Municipalities will benefit from the demolition of the old power lines: Solza, Calusco d’Adda, Carvico, Sotto il Monte Giovanni XXIII, Mapello, Ambivere, Palazzago, Almenno S. Bartolomeo, Almenno S. Salvatore, Strozza, Capizzone, Ubiale Clanezzo, Brembilla, Zogno, San Pellegrino Terme, San Giovanni Bianco, Camerata Cornello, Lenna, Piazza Brembana, Piazzolo, Olmo al Brembo, Averara and Mezzoldo. The rationalisation projects are part of a larger plan to restructure the electricity lines in Lombardy, also affecting the provinces of Milan, Sondrio, Lecco and Monza Brianza, and allowing the demolition of over 150 km of old power lines, for a total of around 600 electricity pylons. In Lombardy, Terna manages 9,740 km of electricity lines and 135 electricity substations and has 337 employees responsible for the daily security of the regional electricity grid. -
