We are currently looking for highly motivated IT Operations Specialist to join our team!

Position IT Operations Specialist

Location Orlando, Florida, USA

Job Summary The IT Operations Specialist supports the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure. This position works closely with other internal teams, vendors, and customers to resolve issues. The IT Operations team also supports the application and management of security initiatives and policies. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: installation, configuration, or repair to hardware and software systems, as well as providing technical assistance to customer and internal company users when necessary.

Responsibilities • Administration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of IT systems and infrastructure. • Utilize internal IT systems to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve problems in SaaS solution. • Installing required security patches and updates for a wide range of applications. • Monitoring security for incidents, resiliency, and identify areas of improvement. • Maintaining and improving procedures, policies and reports that provide technical support to the entire organization. • Supports the implementation of new solutions or applications. • Provides coaching and mentorship to junior team members. • Remains in compliance with company policies and processes.

Qualifications • Previous experience in an IT system administrator role. • Previous experience with Windows Server administration. • Must be proficient in English language (written and verbal). • Must be able to pass a background check as permitted by law. • Must be eligible to travel to Germany and the United States. • Preferred but not required: • Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field • Certifications • Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence, Office 365, Azure AD

• Experience with Apache Tomcat, AWS, Java, Oracle SQL • Experience with WAN/LAN network administration. • Proficiency in German or Spanish languages (written and verbal). • Previous experience with administration of Linux or container-based infrastructure.

Skills

• Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications. • Understanding of data privacy and security applications, such as GDPR and ISO-27001 • Proficient in troubleshooting methods needed to analyze problems and identify solutions. • Willingness to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion. • Team-oriented attitude to assist other colleagues and departments with technical problems. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms. • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills. • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing several tasks at the same time. • Ability to manage high priority tasks and projects. • Able to work cooperatively as part of a team. • Able to retain knowledge of product specifications and demonstrate use accurately. • Must be reliable and punctual. • Seeks self-improvement through mentoring and coaching. • Desire to continuously develop own skills and knowledge.
