Why do we need such a study

Every individual is a Manager – SKD* is a ‘treasure of practical tips for Life who needs to be equipped/ empowered management’ with direct case study * Sundara kāṇḍaṃ Vyoma Sanskrit Brothers [email protected] & [email protected] व्योमसंस्कृतऩाठशाऱा( www.sanskritfromhome.in)

For whom

• For devoted individuals: • One wants to improve his personal and work life by using the principles of our Rishis • Inquisitive student who wants to further research in this area

• For educational institutions who can prescribe such comparative studies, for overall betterment of students

• For companies to engage and manage employees in a better way • Stress management • Employee engagement, etc

What this is not about

Showing Sundara kāṇḍaṃ is an Proving any other management book or anugraha-grantha only because it principle as trivial or not useful has management principles

What this is about Empowering a ‘knowledge worker’ with modern management theories/ principles + eternal, holistic, & unearthed knowledge secrets from our scriptures

Book Summary: Combining cutting-edge research with practical findings, Focus delves into the science of attention in all its varieties, presenting a long overdue discussion of this little-noticed and under-rated mental asset. In an era of unstoppable distractions, Goleman persuasively argues that now more than ever we must learn to sharpen focus if we are to survive in a complex world. Goleman boils down attention research into a threesome: inner, other, and outer focus. Why high-achievers need all three kinds of focus, and explains how those who rely on Smart Practices—mindfulness meditation, focused preparation and recovery, positive emotions and connections, and mental “prosthetics” that help them improve habits, add new skills, and sustain greatness—excel while others do not. - All these were implemented by Hanuman !
