6 About the Conference

The History of the Conference The International Conference „Early Childhood Care and. education“ is a follow-up to the successful first ever World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) organized by UNESCO in 2010 in Moscow ..Since that time, the Conference is held annually and it is one of the major events for the professionals in this field .

ECCE Main Aim The main aim of the Conference is to gather leading researchers and practitioners in the field of early childhood education and to create a community of ambitious leaders who strive for continuous development and are ready to take responsibility for the future of education in the world .

ECCE Achievments From year to year, the conference gathers more and more leading specialists from throughout Russia and from all over the world: 7 countries participated in the 1st Conference in 2011, and in 2018 the number of countries-participants of the 7th Conference increased up to 40 . Since 2015 the International Conference „Early Childhood Care and Education“(2016) is included in the event plan under the Year of Education in Newly Independent States (NIS) and since 2016 the Conference is included in the plan of the most significant events of the Euroasian Universities Association (EUA) .

7 Conference Structure Over the years, the Conference has turned into a complex multi-faceted event .
