Living in Strandfontein for 20 years – Stephanie Singh is flying the Strandfontein flag high and is proud to be doing so. Stephanie started her belly dancing group 13 years ago and they are blooming by the day.

In wanting Strandfontein to become more active in their daily lives, Stephanie aims to persuade both old and new to take care of themselves and their health. “To become active in dance!” she adds. When asked what Stephanie’s view on Strandfontein was today, she simply says: “We have to empower the community to be drug free!” Like many, she is convinced that not everybody is taking an interest in their neighbourhood.

After achieving so much with her dance crew there is obviously nothing stopping the Aphrodite Belly Dance Studio. Stephanie highlights the facts that they are “the first non-white belly dance studio in Strandfontein” and “the first belly dance studio that participated in the DENNEGEUR GIRLS Carla Stevens (Western Cape South African Belly dance Competition” where they achieved great reviews from Karim Nagi WHO SHINES...
