Email: [email protected] Abstract: One of the most important megalithic groups in Western Europe in terms of number and characteristics is the group of over 200 monuments of various types in Sardinia. It now seems to be confirmed that the rise of the megalithic phenomenon was during the culture of San Michele of Ozieri (Late Neolithic, 4000-3300 B.C.E.). The Sardinian dolmen graves, however, had a maximum distribution during the Chalcolithic, as evidenced by most of the finds from excavations. The phenomenon also shows a close relationship beyond Sardinia and especially with the monuments of Catalonia, Pyrenees, non-coastal departments of French-midi, Corsica and Puglia. About 90 dolmen graves of various types have been investigated, namely the simple type, “corridor” type, “allée couverte” type, and others of uncertain attribution, located in central-western Sardinia, and particularly in a significant area of ca. 3500 km2 coinciding with the historical regions of Marghine-Planargia, Middle Valley of Tirso and Montiferru. This includes some 40% of all Sardinian dolmens. Locational trends and relationships with regard to landscape elements were studied with the aid of GIS methodologies such as viewshed and cost surface analysis.

journal of language contact 13 (2020) 17-56 brill.com/jlc The Differential Object Marking of The Arborense Dialect of Sardinian in Language Contact Setting Daniela Boeddu Department of Classical Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of the Basque Country, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain [email protected] Abstract This paper focuses on the Arborense Differential Object Marking (dom) system, which in line with the typical Sardinian dom system marks the object noun phrases character- ized by a high degree of animacy and specificity with the preposition a. This is why the Sardinian dom is also called prepositional accusative. Authors dealing with other Sar- dinian dialects agree in identifying three domains of distribution of the phenomenon: with personal pronouns and personal names the use of the preposition is mandatory; with inanimate common nouns it is excluded; with common nouns referring animate beings, strong variability occurs. On the basis of an oral corpus of contemporary Arbo- rense, it can be stated that the area of mandatory use of dom is restricted in this dialect and that the optionality area turns out to be more extensive than assumed in tradi- tional descriptions of this Sardinian phenomenon. Since all the Arborense speakers of the oral corpus are bilingual (Sardinian-Italian), the data reflect the situation of dom in a contact setting scenario where Sardinian and both Standard and Regional Italian in- teract. According to Putzu (2005) and Blasco Ferrer and Ingrassia (2010), the extensive area of optionality for the use of the Sardinian dom should be the result of the influence of Standard Italian. However, two facts must be considered that make this idea ques- tionable: first, in the language contact scenario of Modern Sardinian not only Standard Italian but also Regional Italian (with a widespread use of the dom) play a role; second, the synchronic variation observed in contemporary Arborense replicates the same variation which characterizes historical data from texts of the 12th–19th centuries.

Le lavorazioni sono previste con l'uso di mezzi meccanici e/o manualmente e dovranno essere eseguite a partire dal ciglio bitumato ovvero dalla cunetta o dalle banchine ove queste fossero in bitume, cemento o comunque pavimentate per una larghezza di almeno mt. 3 entro il 15 di giugno 2016 ed il mantenimento della pulizia fino a tutta la durata della vigenza dell’ordinanza, solitamente il 15 ottobre 2016, salvo eventuali proroghe. Il servizio dovrà essere eseguito secondo la tecnologia ritenuta opportuna dall’appaltatore, atta a garantire il taglio delle erbe e degli arbusti, senza produrre alterazioni alla stabilità delle scarpate e dei cigli, con esclusione dell’utilizzo di diserbanti. In particolare le lavorazioni dovranno comprendere: - sfalcio dell'erba, decespugliamento ed eliminazione di arbusti, rovi, cespugli e qualunque altra vegetazione presenti nelle banchine, cunette, scarpate ed altre pertinenze stradali, eseguito a mano e/o con mezzi meccanici (motosega, motofalciatrice, decespugliatore, macchine operatrici), purché idonei ed a norma di sicurezza, in terreni sia in piano che in pendenza.
