He is a member of numerous governmental and non-governmental 4 commissions on integration policy. He has co-authored two books on foot- 9 ball, one on Hansa Rostock, the other on soccer in Africa. He is currently 30111 working with Christopher Young on a book about German football 1 culture. 2 3 Roman Horak is Associate Professor at the Department of Aesthetics, 4 Cultural Studies/Art Pedagogy, University of Applied Arts, Vienna. So prägten Patrick Arnold, Fabian Wilshusen, Daniel Götz und Adrian Chwiendacz über Jahre das Gesicht der Mannschaft, galt Sören Peters immerhin als wichtiger Ergänzungsspieler. Mit Kai Tönsmeyer, Marco Prigge, Jens Hirsig oder auch Maik Behrens konnte aber guter Ersatz verpflichtet werden. Um eine positive Prognose geht es auch im Fall von Philipp Schiller. Der Stürmer, eigentlich die Nummer eins im Angriff des HFV, war rund acht Monate in der letzten Serie mit einem Kreuzbandriss ausgefallen, ist nu n wieder dabei und hat auch schon mehrere Tore erzielen können.

Überall und zu jeder Gelegenheit habe ich diese Begleitung wahrgenommen – Fahnen, Schals, Trikots gesehen oder Anfeuerung, Aufmunterung, Ermutigung gehört. Und zwar nicht nur bei den großen Spielen bei Welt- oder Europameisterschaften, Endspielen um den UEFA-Cup oder den DFB-Pokal, sondern auch bei Testspielen in kleineren Städten.
