5.3.1 Gesellschaftsvertrag für die lokale Nahverkehrsgesellschaft für den Landkreis Fulda § 1 Gesellschafter, Firma, Sitz, Dauer (1) Der Landkreis Fulda, die Städte Gersfeld, Hünfeld und Tann sowie die Gemeinden Bad Salzschlirf, Burghaun, Dipperz, Ebersburg, Ehrenberg, Eichenzell, Eiterfeld, Flieden, Großenlüder, Hilders, Hofbieber, Hosenfeld, Kalbach, Künzell, Neuhof, Nüsttal, Petersberg, Poppenhausen und Rasdorf bilden eine Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung, die unter dem Namen LNG Lokale Nahverkehrsgesellschaft Fulda mbH firmiert. (2) Die Gesellschaft hat ihren Sitz in Fulda. (3) Die Bildung der Gesellschaft erfolgt auf unbestimmte Zeit. Im Jahre 2002 wird überprüft, ob eine grundlegende Änderung des GeseIlschaftsvertrages erforderlich ist. (4) Im Hinblick auf die verkehrlichen und tariflichen Verflechtungen zwischen dem Oberzentrum Fulda und dem Umland wird eine Assoziierung der Stadt Fulda in die Gesellschaft angestrebt. § 2 Aufgaben (1) Die Gesellschaft dient dem Zweck der gemeinsamen Wahrnehmung der im Gebiet ihrer Mitglieder anfallenden Aufgaben und Zuständigkeiten im Bereich des Öffentlichen Personennahverkehrs (ÖPNV), soweit nicht öffentlich-rechtliche Vorschriften oder das Verbundvertragswerk des RMV dies zwingend ausschließen. Zu ihren Aufgaben gehört insbesondere die Koordinierung des ÖPNV mit dem eigenständigen Aufgabenträger Stadt Fulda sowie - für die Dauer der Mitgliedschaft des Landkreises Fulda in diesem Verbund - die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Rhein- Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) auf der Grundlage des RMV-Kooperationsvertrages. -

The Central Archives for the History of the Jewish People Jerusalem (CAHJP) PRIVATE COLLECTION MARION R. COHN – P 325 Xeroxed registers of birth, marriage and death Marion Rene Cohn was born in 1925 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany and raised in Germany and Romania until she immigrated to Israel (then Palestine) in 1940 and since then resided in Tel Aviv. She was among the very few women who have served with Royal British Air Forces and then the Israeli newly established Air Forces. For many years she was the editor of the Hasade magazine until she retired at the age of 60. Since then and for more than 30 years she has dedicated her life to the research of German Jews covering a period of three centuries, hundreds of locations, thousands of family trees and tens of thousands of individuals. Such endeavor wouldn’t have been able without the generous assistance of the many Registors (Standesbeamte), Mayors (Bürgermeister) and various kind people from throughout Germany. Per her request the entire collection and research was donated to the Central Archives for the History of the Jewish People in Jerusalem and the Jewish Museum in Frankfurt am Main. She passed away in 2015 and has left behind her one daughter, Maya, 4 grandchildren and a growing number of great grandchildren. 1 P 325 – Cohn This life-time collection is in memory of Marion Cohn's parents Consul Erich Mokrauer and Hetty nee Rosenblatt from Frankfurt am Main and dedicated to her daughter Maya Dick. The Daily Life of the Village and Country Jews in Hessen from Hitler's Ascent to Power to November 1938 Menahem Kaufman Introduction This article deals with Jewish life in the state of Hessen (Volksstaat Hessen) in the district of Hessen-Nassau (part of Prussia at that time) and in the district of Kurhessen and Waldeck during the Weimar period. We may surmise that patterns of Jewish life in southern and western parts of Germany during the period in question did not differ strikingly from those in Hessen. A small number of Jewish families lived in some of the villages in the region; they were either too few in number to constitute a community, or managed to establish small though organized communities within their own synagogue. In small towns with several dozen Jewish families, local communities sponsored a number of communal institutions, which functioned quite well before 1933, and made efforts to maintain their patterns of communal life even during the period around which this article revolves. The present study draws upon a number of sources: first, the original documentary material preserved in the archives of the villages and small towns1; secondly, publications that discuss the Jews in various localities and districts of Hessen; and, thirdly, letters and oral testimonies of Jewish Holocaust survivors and of several non-Jews.
