If you are interested in studying in Germany, you may consider a boarding school to be your pathway into university. It´s not possible to start at one of the following German boarding schools in 11th grade. If you need a language course in advance, you can book that extra. For visiting a boarding school and passing the „Abitur“ you need to know German on level B1 if you start in 9th grade and on level B2 if you start in 10th grade. The following services we offer here is an application service and a perfect addition to your language course or high school exchange program. Boarding School For us a boarding school is more than a school: it is a second home. Our students will become a part of Germany. Besides studying for school, you will have lots of opportunities and activities. Teachers and students do not only interact inside the classroom but are also living and spending their free time with leisure activities together. All schools are located in a beautiful area and offer everything students need to have a great time in Germany. The special point about the program is that we always choose a “real German” high school. This means, that the schools we cooperate with are visited mostly by Germans and a few international students. In Germany many boarding schools are very international. We focus on those who are made for Germans and welcome internationals. Therefore you get a better chance to become part of Germany and get prepared much better for your studies at University. On top of this, those schools are non-profit and the quality is very high. The difficult point about those boarding schools is to get a seat. Webpages are in German and they only take a few students per year. In order to get a seat, you need to pass an oral interview in German. Passing the interview is more a cultural challenge than something you can read in books. This makes it very difficult to apply for internationals. Our service is to place you at such a boarding school and to prepare you for passing the interview successfully. Boarding School 1: Pädagogium Bad Sachsa

Bad Sachsa is located in the beautiful nature of the region Harz, close to the student city Göttingen. The Pädagogium is characterized not only by German students but by a great diversity of international students from all over the world. Due to the small amount of students, the educators are able to carry a lot for each one and their individual problems. Normally the students live, separated by gender, in two-shared bedrooms until they reach 12th grade. Then, they are allowed to move into a single bedroom in order to prepare in privacy and without interruption for the examination. After classes there are a lot of options: students can do some sports at the soccer court, the beach volleyball court and the gym. From time to time the whole boarding school is used to do some activities together, like visiting a theatre or a cinema, enjoying the mystical flair of a German Christmas market or having fun at a theme park. Besides these activities, students have the possibility to discover the impressive landscape of the region Harz in small groups by camping, canoeing and skiing in and through the wild nature.
