The pilot scheme, which was launched by David Clark, Minister for Public Services, will be rolled out to thousands of people over the coming months and is the start of the governments commitment that a quarter of its business will be conducted electronically by the year 2002. The electronic form replaces a number of complex paper forms that were originally required to register as self employed.
