It is called INCLUDE - International Network studying Caste in Labour markets, Underachievement and DEvelopment – and is headed by Nabanita Datta Gupta. The aim of the research performed by this group is to bring reliable empirical evidence on the economic and behavioral implications of anti-discrimination policies in employment and education, across both children and adults, to better understand the linkages of policies, caste and education and labor market outcomes across the life-cycle, and to find ways to erase persistent inter-group inequalities. SEMINAR ON DATA RESOURCES WITHIN CIRRAU - WITH EMPHASIS ON THE DANISH CIVIL REGISTRATION SYSTEM The Centre for Integrated Register-based Research (CIRRAU) has set up a project data base at Statistics Denmark allowing AU researchers easier access to health-related data and data from Statistics Denmark. At a seminar on Friday 4 October Carsten Bøcker Pedersen will give an overview of the data resources included as well as procedures for gaining access to these valuable data. The seminar will be held at Fuglesangs Allé 4, Auditorium M1 on Friday 4 October 12:15-13:15. The vision is to bridge the academic world and the business world, to foster more qualified prospective employees and to enable companies to aid with this development. This year, in week 15, we will continue this legacy when we host the seventh consecutive case competition at Aarhus University. ACC aims to bridge the gap between academia and the business world. This is a goal we proudly strive to achieve through constant hard work and renewal of our case competition. Today, companies are to an increasing degree looking for potential employees that possess great analytical and practical skills when it comes to solving their ever-changing challenges.
