Kesher | March/April 2020 22 YOUTH PRESCHOOL YOUTH The Ida & Max Fogel Windows of the World Art Studio

Temple Sinai’s Ida & Max Fogel Windows of the World Art Studio creates an environment for each student to find their own way, cultivate their creativ- ity, and imagine new realities. Inspired by Ida and Max Fogel’s shared vision of quality education, the Windows of the World Art Studio opens new doors of exploration and development for students of all ages.

The new Art Studio was introduced in 2019 and marked the completion of the first phase of converting our existing Youth and Adult library space within our Learning Center into a multi-faceted learning environment. In this space, our Temple Sinai Preschool students enjoy the benefits of exploring the world through art. The second phase, a mixed-use children’s library, technology lab and maker space will begin at the completion of phase one.

To contribute to the matching fund and to help make the second phase of this project a reality, please consider contributing to the Ida & Max Fogel Windows of the World Fund. https://www.sinaidenver.org/payment.php B’NEI MITZVAH YOUTH ANDREW MELUN - APRIL 4TH, 2020 Andrew is the son of Marne and Michael Melun, and the brother of Joel (16). DATES ARE STILL AVAILABLE FOR B’NEI MITZVAH IN 2020 AND 2021

It is never too late to have our children experience the life-affirming joy and pride of accomplishment by leading a service as a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Each year around 60 students become Bar or Bat Mitzvah at Temple Sinai. If you have a child who will turn 13 (or older) in 2020 or 2021 and you do not yet have a reserved date for a service, please call Rabbi Rick Rheins or Rabbi Jordy Callman and we’ll answer your questions and help you find a date. Date selection request forms also are available in the Temple Sinaioffice. Our clergy work personally with each student and their family to help create a memorable celebration that will bring a lifetime of blessings.
