J. Wexler Law S.C. Swing Into SSpring!pring! Legal solutions for families in transition DaneD BuyBuy Local’sLocal’s AAnnualAnnual Gala

Divorce and legal separation are difficult enough without destructive, expensive court battles. There is a better way.

At J. Wexler Law, we use the collaborative model to find legal solutions for families in transition. It is a better approach for people who have been in significant relationships, especially when children are involved, because it allows people to continue to have a relationship after the formality is over. It is the least confrontational way to get the best outcome.

We apply the same principles to the other areas of family law we practice.

April 2014 Madison Jewish News/31 Israel and the World From the Mid-east to the Mid-west: Highlights From Our Community Shlichim (Israel Program Coordinators)

BY MICKEY & RACHELI AZIZ-KOMAR

“Go, gather together all the Jews…” (Esther: 4,16) Why did Esther request for all the Jews to gather? Why couldn’t she go alone to the king? Esther knew what she was doing might risk her life, and she needed help, moral support. Her mission was not for her herself, it was for all of her community, her nation, the Jews. And only when she had the Jews around her did she have the courage to face the king! What better way to celebrate this wonderful Purim festival than a great community carnival! It was so nice to see the community working together to organize it and won- derful to see how many people came to be part of this community event!!! Just as we tell you how great Israel is; we surely tell Israel how great Madison is! This month was difficult for Israel. We had Israel Apartheid week, where organiza- tions call to boycott, divest and make sanctions against Israel (BDS). Campuses around the U.S and the world had protests, lectures, films and other pro- grams to promote their Anti-Israel beliefs. I understand people want to find solutions to the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians but I believe there are ways to do so by promoting peace and not through hate like the BDS movement is doing. I want to thank the group who came on March 2 to the lecture I did about why BDS is not good for Israel and the peace process. Purim symbolizes why it’s important to speak for your people, to be part of a com- munity, to care for Israel. The hate that’s growing against Israel is not only Israel’s mat- ter, it won’t stop there. It’s so much easier to spread hate then peace. Even among ourselves. It doesn’t mean we have to ignore the problems, it means we have to care, open our minds and hearts to solve them. There are many ways to get involved – all it takes is a thought, a call, an email or just show up to a program. When you give to your community and/or to your Jewish nation you give to yourself too. Now that Passover is approaching we can wish you all: "! " , “Next year in Jerusalem!”
