NAMM 2019 marks the culmination of perhaps the most exciting year in Radial Engineering’s 27 year history, following the announcement in January 2018 that the company was sold to Vancouver-based Regimen Equity Partners and incoming CEO Mike Belitz of Ultimate Support Sys- tems. It’s been a whirlwind year filled with positive changes both large and small at the Canadian manufacturer, with more to come in the near future as the company continues to grow and expand its portfolio of Mike Belitz - CEO exceptional products.

In the year since the acquisition, Belitz and the leadership team at Radial have focused their efforts on improving systems and increasing efficiencies within Radial’s operations. The most signif- icant aspect of that has been the establishment of a stateside ful- filment center. “The largest market in our industry is the U.S., after all,” explains Belitz. “Being able to ship from a centralized location here in the States will decrease shipping costs and times to our valued dealers, and subsequently increase inventory turns for our dealers and for us.” An early rollout of the U.S. fulfilment center has seen transit time decrease by 3-4 days on shipments to the East Coast, with orders placed by noon Pacific Time typically shipping out the same business day.

2018 also saw the promotion and addition of personnel in key positions within the company, including Jay Porter as Prod- uct Manager and Ben Chudyk as Marketing Manager. This list also notably includes Craig ‘Hutch’ Hutchison, Radial’s new Senior Design Engineer. Hutch brings over 20 years of design experience to the engineering team, with previous stints at Electric Lady Studios, Manley Labs and Rupert Neve Designs, to name a few. The products that Hutch has designed in full or substantially contributed to have won over fifteen TEC awards with over twenty nominations. He is recognized as one of the world’s leading audio circuit designers, and he has been a welcome addition to the staff both for his expertise and his mentoring skills.

The coming year brings plenty to look forward to on the horizon at Radial, including a refreshed marketing strategy, and exciting new products in development for both new and existing product categories. Amid these improvements and chang- es, CEO Mike Belitz remains committed to keeping the core values in place that have helped guide Radial to success over the years, including innovative, made-in-Canada products and top-tier service. “The team at Radial are rightfully proud of what they’ve accomplished over the years, and we want to keep it that way and enable them to continue doing what they’ve proven they do better than anyone.”
