Aurlandsdalen The track through the legendary Aurlandsdalen valley is one of the ancient routes between Eastern and Western Norway. Beautiful and wild, rich in flora and fauna, cultural heritage, history, varied geology and good trout fishing. You can go walking for several days and stay overnight in trekking association cabins in the valley, or go on shorter walks based on travelling by bus or using your own car.

Breheimen National Park Breheimen is the mountain area between the two national parks of Jotunheimen and Jostedalsbreen. The walk through the Mørkridsdalen valley is regarded as one of the most beautiful in Norway, and the Norwegian Trekking Association has voted it the walk with the richest flora. There are many summer pasture farms and large fishing lakes in the area, which are used extensively by both the locals and visitors.
