LIETUVOS ENTOMOLOGŲ DRAUGIJOS DARBAI. 2 (30) tomas 47 NEW DATA ON 63 RARE MOTH (LEPIDOPTERA) SPECIES FOR THE LITHUANIAN FAUNA BRIGITA PAULAVIČIŪTĖ, VYTAUTAS INOKAITIS Kaunas T. Ivanauskas Zoological Museum, Laisvės al. 106, LT-44253, Kaunas, Lithuania. E-mail: [email protected] Introduction The first data on Lithuanian Lepidoptera were published by Carl Eduard von Eichwald (1795–1876) who was a professor of Vilnius University. In his work, Zologia specialis, 1830, he mentioned some moth species, including five species of Microlepidoptera (Ivinskis, 2003). Through the 1970’ and 1980’ numerous articles dealing with Lithuanian Microlepidoptera were published by Povilas Ivinskis, Vladimir Ivanovich Piskunov, Mikhail Kozlov, Saulius Pakalniškis, Giedrius Švitra and Ričardas Kazlauskas (Aarvik at al., 2017). More important works have been published by Povilas Ivinskis (1993, 2004). The Lepidoptera in Lithuania are not fully investigated. The last catalogue of Lithuanian Lepidoptera includes 2423 species (Aarvik et al., 2017). This article present new data on 63 rare and very rare species of moths (Lepidoptera) registered in 14 administrative districts and municipalities of Lithuania. Material and Methods The material was collected in different parts of Lithuania: in Druskininkai municipalities, Akmenė, Ignalina, Jonava, Jurbarkas, Kaišiadorys, Kaunas, Panevėžys, Šakiai, Šiauliai, Širvintos, Švenčionys, Tauragė and Varėna administrative districts. Lepidoptera were collected using an entomological net and light trapping at night (160W–500W DRL type bulb lamps were used). The major part of material was collected by the authors of this report Brigita Paulavičiūtė (B.P.) and Vytautas Inokaitis (V.I.). The rest species were collected by Vitalijus Bačianskas (V.Ba.), Vaida Paznekaitė (V.P.) and Romas Ferenca (R.F.).

Abstract [A contribution to knowledge of the Crambidae of Romagna (Insecta: Lepidoptera: Crambidae)] Faunistic data on 126 species of Crambidae (Insecta, Lepidoptera) living in Romagna region (Italy). Crambidae are a family of Microlepitoptera, subdivided into ten subfamilies: Acentropinae, Crambinae, Cybalomiinae, Evergestinae, Glaphyriinae, Odontiinae, Pyraustinae, Schoenobiinae, Scopariinae and Spilomelinae. The first list of the Crambidae of Romagna was published by Pietro Zangheri in 1969. The present paper updates Zangheri’s survey after half a century, by adding 31 species. Introduction and Concluding Remarks are both in Italian and in English. Key words: Lepidoptera, Crambidae, checklist, Romagna, Italy.

Joannea Zool. Wiederaufnahme extensiver Mahd emp ehlt. Abstract:

Spilomelinae and Pyraustinae form a species-rich monophylum of Crambidae (snout moths). Morphological distinction of the two groups has been diffcult in the past, and the morphologically heterogenous Spilomelinae has not been broadly accepted as a natural group due to the lack of convincing apomorphies.

Silva Gabreta vol. 17 (2-3) p. 83–132 Vimperk, 2011 Buterflies and moths (Lepidoptera) of the Blanice National Nature Monument (Bohemian Forest, Czech Republic) Jan Šumpich CZ-58261 Česká Bělá 212, Czech Republic [email protected] Abstract This paper summarises data on butterflies and moths occurring in the Blanice National Nature Monument (NNM) including its buffer zone (Bohemian Forest, Šumava Protected Landscape Area, southern Bohe- mia). Most of the presented data were gathered during surveys carried out by the author in 2008–2009. Further data, spanning the period 1972–2009, were kindly provided by other lepidopterologists. In addition, all published data have also been included in the study. In 2008 the author focused mainly on wetland habitats in the Blanice River floodplain, moving in 2009 to mountain coniferous forests in the NNM’s buffer zone. In total, 710 moth species are presented in the paper together with phenological data, where known, and the exact location of their records. Predominant habitat types are characterized by the lepidop- teran communities recorded therein. High species diversity was observed in wetland habitats near the Blanice River and the occurrence of many typical wetland species was confirmed there, e.g., Sterrhopterix standfussi (Wocke, 1851), Epermenia falciformis (Haworth, 1828), Orthonama vittata (Borkhausen, 1794), or Hypenodes humidalis Doubleday, 1850. Species-rich lepidopteran fauna of mountain forests in the buff- er zone were typified by Nemapogon picarellus (Clerck, 1759), Ypsolopha nemorella (Linnaeus, 1758), Anchinia daphnella (Dennis & Schiffermüller, 1775), Caryocolum klosi (Rebel, 1917), C. cassellum (Walk- er, 1864), Epinotia pusillana (Peyerimhoff, 1863), Elophos vittarius (Thunberg, 1788), Entephria infidaria (La Harpe, 1853), Perizoma taeniatum (Stephens, 1831), Phlogophora scita (Hübner, 1790), or Xestia colli- na (Boisduval, 1840).

SEITE 329– 360 Altogether 504 species have been recorded, including available data from 1956 Dornbirn 2003 to 1999. Several remarkable species being endangered and/or of faunistic interest are discussed in detail. To conserve this diverse fauna, some advice for nature conservancy-measures is provided.
