Rinomato Aperitivo and Americano RinomatoBitter Rinomato Aperitivo RinomatoAperitivo aperitivorinomato.it RINOMATO is a line of aperitifs produced in the heart of Italy’s historic aperitivo region – Asti, Piedmont. A collaboration between legendary barman Giancarlo Mancino and his American importer, these beautifully balanced and classic products root themselves in the artisan production methods and aperitivo traditions of 19th century northern Italy. The distinct aromas are a product of careful ingredient sourcing by Giancarlo Mancino from small family farms across 4 continents. The intense palate is ensured only by just-in-time crushing of botanicals on the production line, using a vintage botanical mill from the 1930s. THE SEA ISLANDCocktails COCKTAIL CHRONICLES A Spirited Timeline of American History Chapter I: “Dawn of the Cocktail” (1803 to 1919) The word “cocktail” appeared in the early 1800s and is defined as “a stimulating liquor composed of any kind of sugar, water and bitters.” The first cocktail, the Sazerac, was invented in New Orleans in 1838. The word “mixologist” arrived later in 1856 and by 1862, the first book of cocktail recipes had been published, written by San Francisco bartender Jerry Thomas. In the book’s preface, Thomas wrote that the cocktail was a beacon of American innovation: “This is an Age of Progress; new ideas and new inventions follow each other in rapid succession. A new beverage is the pride of the Bartender, and its appreciation and adoption his crowning glory.” SEASONAL SPECIALTY COCKTAILS TAVOLA CLASSIC COCKTAILS THE TAVOLA SAZERAC— 15 Guest and Member Favorites Menorval Calvados Prestige, Sombra Mezcal, Strega, Brown Sugar, LAVANDA— 14 Blackstrap Bitters, Angostura Bitters, Lemon Lavender-Infused VOGA Vodka, Italicus, Honey, Boston Bittah’s, Lemon MIDNIGHT MARAUDER— 16 DUCATI— 16 Plantation Original Dark Rum, Cinnamon Infused Sherry, Tito’s Vodka or Brokers Gin, Cocchi Americano Rosa, Aperol, Dark Cocoa-Infused Vermouth, House Midnight Bitters, Fig, Lemon Grapefruit, Himalayan Sea Salt CHERRY COBBLER— 17 TAVOLA 75— 14 Michter’s Rye Whiskey, Cherry Heering, Lime, Vanilla, Sea Island Guild Gin, Grapefruit, Prosecco Raspberry, Xocolatl Mole Bitters, Mint NEGRONI DI LEONE— 17 DUTCH EMBRACE— 18 Manifest Barreled Gin, Dente di Leone Amaro, Rutte Old Simon Genever, Dolin Blanc Vermouth, Yellow Chartreuse, Cocchi Vermouth di Torino, Lemon Lemon, Prosecco, Grapefruit, Thyme APEROL SPRITZ ON TAP— 15 1803 1862 1908 The term “cocktail” was “The Professor” Jerry Thomas releases the first Howard Coffin establishes first used to describe an cocktail recipe book, the Hudson Motor Company.

In Florence, Italy around 1919, is just that. Instead of gin, the cocktail contains a splash of sparkling wine. In 1972, Count Camillo Negroni wanted to make his Americano a little stronger Mirko Stocchetto at Bar Basso in Milan accidently added sparkling wine to his negroni and asked his bartender to replace the soda water with gin. instead of gin. This mistake lead to this popular variation of the Negroni. Originally made with Campari from Milan and Punt e Mes vermouth whisky or bourbon. This modification takes the cocktail from crisp and smooth from Turin, it’s first name was the Milano-Torino. Around the turn of and makes it more rich and robust. In this version we use Canadian whisky and the 20th century, right before prohibition, the cocktail became known as local vermouth from Niagara to create a smooth and well balanced Boulevardier with The Americano because of its popularity with American tourists.
