Approved Fiscal Year 2010 Budget Transmittal Letter To the Capital Metro Board and Members of the Capital Metro Service Area: Attached is the Budget for the 2010 fiscal year. This carefully prepared budget allows Capital Metro to continue to offer high quality transit services despite the ongoing economic challenges here and abroad. While our region has not been hit as hard as other parts of the country, the Austin area still faces significantly higher unemployment than at this time last year. While more than 70 percent of Capital Metro’s
