Lapsed rivistusid rühmade kaupa ja igal rühmal oli kaasas oma lipp. Paraadi aitasid korraldada Kaitseliidu Naiskodukaitse Viru-Nigula jaoskonna liik- med, kes selgitasid lastele eelnevalt, kuidas paraadi korraldada ning rääkisid oma tegevusest. Paraadi oli tervitamas Viru-Nigula val- lavolikogu esimees Riho Kutsar. The established conodont zones in the Cambrian-Ordovician boundary beds in northern Estonia serve as a basis for the interpretation of the succession of changes in the facies cohditions of sedimentation. The facies maps compiled by time interval!? correspond to the Westergaardodina, Cordylodus andresi, C. proavus, C. lindstromi, and C. rotundatus-C. angulatus conodont zones. Phosphorite accumulation was the most intensive during the C. proavus time. The rugged topography of the underlying Lower Cambrian Tiskre and Vaki formations on the territory of the Rakvere phosphorite region was of great significance in the phosphorite accumulation. At the initial stages of phosphorite accumulation three bottom swells (islands) existed there. The most intensive piling up of phosphorite was related to these swells. Wyse Jackson, P.N. & Key, M.M., Jr. 2007: Borings in trepostome bryozoans from the LETHAIA Ordovician of Estonia: two ichnogenera produced by a single maker, a case of host morphology control. Lethaia, Vol. 40, pp. 237–252. The evolution of borings has shown that the morphology of borings is a function of both the borer and its substrate. This study investigated the effect of bryozoan internal skeletal morphology on the dimensions and distribution of borings. One hundred and forty-three trepostome colonies from the Middle and Upper Ordovician strata of northern Estonia were examined. Of these, 80% were matrix entombed, longitudinally sectioned ramose and hemispherical colonies, and 20% were matrix-free hemispherical colonies that allowed examination of the colony surfaces. Seventy-one percent of the ramose colonies were bored, whereas 88% of the hemispherical colonies were bored. On average, only 8% of colony surface areas were bored out. Borings were more ran- domly oriented in the hemispherical colonies. In contrast in the ramose colonies, the borings tended to more restricted to the thin-walled endozone and thus parallel to the branch axis. This is interpreted to be a function of the thick-walled exozones con- trolling to some extent where the borer could bore. Based on morphology, the borings in the hemispherical colonies are referred to Trypanites and those in the ramose colonies to Sanctum. Sanctum is revised to include two possible openings and to recognize that boring shapes were inherently constrained by the thick-walled exozones of the host bryozoan colonies. -

Many of these efforts are focused on oil shale, which the country has been using for almost a century and which meets 70% of its energy demand. While it provides a large degree of energy security, oil shale is highly carbon-intensive. The government is seeking to lessen the negative environmental impact by phasing out old power plants and developing new technologies to reduce significantly CO2 emissions. The efforts on oil shale complement Estonia’s solid track record of modernising its overall energy system. Since restoring its independence in 1991, Estonia has fully liberalised its electricity and gas markets and attained most national energy policy targets and commitments for 2020. It has also started preparing its energy strategy to 2030, with an outlook to 2050. Estonia is also promoting energy market integration with neighbouring EU member states. The strengthening of the Baltic electricity market and its timely integration with the Nordic market, as well as the establishment of a regional gas market, are therefore key priorities for Estonia. Following its accession to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in 2010, Estonia applied for International Energy Agency (IEA) membership in 2011. -

A critical summary of the previous information on Estonian Myriapoda is given, supplemented by new records and distribution maps. Altogether, 5784 specimens from 276 col- lecting sites were studied. To the hitherto recorded 14 centipede species are added Lithobius melanops, L. microps, Geophilus carpophagus, G. flavus, Strigamia transsilvanica and Stenotaenia linearis, a probably introduced species. Of the 27 published Estonian millipede species, the data on two species proved er- roneous, and two new species were recorded (Craspedosoma raulinsii and Cylindroiulus britannicus). Two previously recorded millipede species – Brachyiulus pusillus and Mastigophorophyllon saxonicum – were not found in the recent samples, the latter may have become more rare or extinct. -

Viru-Nigula Vald, Rahu Pingelistes Olukordades; Määratakse 7040 Eurot
MAI 2020 Valla elanike arv 30.04.2020 seisuga on 5738 inimest. Koduleht sai uue näo iru-Nigula vald võttis kasutusele uue ja ajakohase kodulehe kujunduse. Seoses sellega korrastati ka V veebilehe üldist struktuuri. Muutunud on kodulehe päis ja jalus, värvilahendused ning üldine navigeerimis- süsteem. Uudse lahendusena on nüüd võimalik lugeda ko- dulehelt Viru-Nigula Valla Teataja artikleid ning lisandus tagasiside andmise võimalus. Valla kodulehe uuele kujundusele üle viimisega alustati juba märtsi keskel ning tänaseks on veebileht uue kujundu- sega ühildatud. Koduleht viidi KOVTP-2019 uuele kujun- Õpetajad ja dusele üle oma jõududega. Töö oli suhteliselt mahukas ja nõudis omajagu nokitsemist. Kõik veebilehed tuli IT-spet- sialistil ükshaaval läbi käia ning seal olev info ümber tõsta ja vormingut ning sisu korrastada. spordikeskuse Kodulehe struktuuri korrastades on enam tähelepanu pöö- ratud sellele, et info oleks lihtsalt ja mugavalt leitav. Lisaks värskele välimusele on uuel kujundusel ka teisi eeliseid. Üheks suureks plussiks uue kodulehe puhul on hästi toimiv otsingusüsteem ja niinimetatud nutivaade, mis võimaldab töötajad tegid lugeda lehte erinevatest nutiseadmetest. Muutunud on ka päis ja jalus ning värvilahendused. Üldine jaotus on vana lehega võrreldes loogilisem ja mugavam. Lisaks on saanud uudiste ja teadete ning kalendri alamlehed köitvama ilme. heakorratöid Ühe uuendusena on kodulehe põhimenüüsse loodud rub- riik „Teenused ja toimingud“, kuhu alla on koondatud kõik teenused, nagu näiteks toetuste vormid ja avaldused. See tähendas seda, et õpe- omakorda valdkondade kaupa jaotatud ja paremini leitavad. -
