When the disciples asked Jesus what would be the sign of His coming and of the end of the world, the first thing our Lord said was, “Take heed that no man deceive you” (Matt. 24:4). Further in His discourse, He went on to say, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Matt. 24:24). In our day, we are now beholding unprecedented reli- gious deception, and, believing the words of Jesus Christ, INDEX we know that the end of the world is indeed at hand.
