Les Rendez-vous de la Francophonie (RVF) is part of the events surrounding the Journée Internationale de la Francophonie (March 20), which is organized every year around the world to promote the French language and its numerous cultural expressions! As part of Francophonie Month, the RVF has a program of French-language activities, shows and cultural events in store for you from March 1 to 31 across PEI. Since 2019 also marks the 50th anniversary of the Offi cial Languages Act, the theme of the 21st RVF aims to bring people together by highlighting the importance of offi cial languages and Indigenous languages, as well as open minds and open ears.
