This was the largest battle of the entire war (which I did not know). If you are in Brooklyn, the Old Stone House is easy to get to and parking can be had right next to the building, as it is located in a park in the Park Slope neigh- borhood. Admission is free (although they ask for a $3 donation), and while the exhibits are not ex- tensive, they are well done. Of note is the beauti- ful diorama donated by Maryland. You probably cannot make out the writing on the ‘construction From left to right: Compatriot SAR Compatriot Ron Har- sign’ in the photo, but it is tongue-in-cheek, as if baugh, Brunswick Mayor Pro Tempore Angel White, SAR written at the time of the battle.
