Fencing at the Safran Aerospace Museum: - have lined up an Olympic rematch on March 31 at 7:00 pm

Are you a fan? Last summer, were you on the edge of your seat watching the French foil team in the final against Russia at the Rio ? On the occasion of the international fencing weekend, organized by the Melun Val de Seine Fencing Circle, France and Russia will meet again this Friday, March 31 at 7:30 pm at the Safran Aerospace Museum in Réau (greater area), in the immediate vicinity of the Safran Aircraft Engines Villaroche facility. Come along to enjoy this sporting event in an unusual setting (admission is free)!

The Russian team, crowned Olympic champions, will face France who will try to avenge the final lost in the final moments in Rio last summer on the score of 45 touches to 41. Come along to support them and attend an exceptional encounter between two of the best male foil teams in the world!

The French team will be at full strength for this competition, featuring Enzo Lefort along with Erwan Le Péchoux, Jérémie Cadot, and Jean-Paul Tony Helissey.

On the Russian side, Artur Akhmatkhuzin, who inflicted a 10-3 defeat on Jean-Paul Tony Helissey in the Rio final, turning the course of the match to definitively give the Russians the advantage, will be absent due to injury. He will be replaced by Dimitri Zherebchenko, accompanied by Timur Safin, Alexey Cheremisinov, and Dmitrii Rigin.

The Safran Aerospace Museum in Villaroche regularly hosts sporting or recreational events. The aim is to kindle the general public's interest in the aerospace sector with a view to inspiring young people to work in this field.
