I am of course referring to the Glen Orden Football Club who claimed the Division Two title by 43 points last Sunday against Parkside. From the moment that the Hawks announced that they were going to be boasting a forward line consisting of Adem and Damien Yze as well as former Geelong and Richmond player Kent Kingsley, in reality every opposition club was always going to be up against it. In the end that is the way it panned out. Damien kicked five to take his season tally to 136. Adem dobbed a couple when the game was up for grabs and whilst Kingsley only bagged the one, his body work and pushing up at the football was an absolute feature in the victory. Throw in four majors from John Zangari and you can understand why Glen Orden reigned supreme on the day. Congratulations to Nick Diker and his men in the brown and gold.
