1. On 24 January 2000 the Commission received notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 4064/89 (1), as last amended by Regulation (EC) No 1310/97 (2), by which the undertakings Industri Kapital 2000 Fund (IK 2000) and Industri Kapital 1997 Fund (IK 1997), both belonging to the Industri Kapital group, Jersey, acquire, within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Regulation, joint control of the whole of the undertaking Dyno ASA (Dyno), Norway, through Nordkem AS (Nordkem), Norway, also belonging to the Industri Kapital group, by way of purchase of shares. Nordkem issued a public tender for the shares of Dyno on 7 December 1999.

2. The business activities of the undertakings concerned are:

— IK 2000: private equity fund belonging to the Industri Kapital group,

— IK 1997: private equity fund belonging to the Industri Kapital group,

— Industri Kapital group: group of investment funds,

— Dyno: parent company of a group of companies active in explosives, formaldehyde-based resins, oil field chemicals, paper overlays, specialty polymers, plastic packaging and methanol,

— Nordkem: holding company owned by IK 1997.

3. On preliminary examination, the Commission finds that the notified concentration could fall within the scope of Regulation (EEC) No 4064/89. However, the final decision on this point is reserved.

4. The Commission invites interested third parties to submit their possible observations on the proposed operation.

On 28 January 2000 the Commission received notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 4064/89 (1), as last amended by Regulation (EC) No 1310/97 (2), by which the Canadian based undertaking KKR European Fund LP (KKR), belonging to the United States of America based group KKR Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., acquires, within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Regulation, control of the whole of the German based undertaking Bosch Telecom Private Networks (BTPN) by way of purchase of shares and assets.

2. The business activities of the undertakings concerned are:

— KKR: equity investments,

— BTPN: ISDN communications systems; for example, PABX systems and correspondent terminals.

3. On preliminary examination, the Commission finds that the notified concentration could fall within the scope of Regulation (EEC) No 4064/89. However, the final decision on this point is reserved.

On 25 January 2000 the Commission received notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 4064/89 (1), as last amended by Regulation (EC) No 1310/97 (2), by which the undertaking Unilever Fance, a holding company belonging to the Dutch group Unilever NV, acquires, within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Regulation, control of the whole of the undertaking Amora-Maille, subsidiary of the French company Somaref, by way of purchase of shares.

2. The business activities of the undertakings concerned are:

— Unilever France: holding company of several companies active in the fields of food products, personal hygiene products and perfumes and house cleaning products,

— Amora-Maille: groceries (mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, salad sauces, olive oil, vinegar, gherkins, stocks and spices).
