APR Outstanding Scout recognised ick Banks, Branch Commissioner Branch Youth Council and member of the Flash Rover Crew was announced as one of three winners of the Asia Pacific NRegion’s Outstanding Scout Award. Nick was selected as the Australian nominee and went on to win the prestigious title that is only given once every three years.

The APR Outstanding Scout Award recognises leadership and contribution to the local community as well as dedication to the Scouting Movement. Nick has certainly shown these qualities in his work within and outside of Scouting. This includes his involvement on the National Youth Council Executive and National Youth Involvement Consultation Group. He is the Marketing Director for AV2015 ‘Heaps Good’.

Flash Rover Crew and the South Australian Branch are lucky to have his skills, knowledge and leadership. Nick received his award at the 7th Asia-Pacific Region Scout Youth Forum held in Bangladesh last November.
