Keywords Tineidae, faunistics, taxonomy, four new species, new records, Palaearctic region. My collègue L a u r i K a il a from the Finnish Museum of Natural History, Helsinki (FMNH) was so kind as to send me undetermined Tineidae, collected by several Finnish entomologists during recent years in various parts of Russia (Siberia, Buryatia, Far East), in Central Asia, and China. -

E-mail: [email protected] – The complete bibliographic list of 141 scientific works on Lepidoptera written by Dr LÁSZLÓ GOZMÁNY, former curator of Lepidoptera in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, is presented with reference to 800 names he proposed. The bibliography is supp- lemented by the catalogue of the names arranged according to family-group (13), genus- group (150) and species-group (637) names and listed in alphabetical order with reference to original description, type status, sex, country of origin, type locality and depositor. INTRODUCTION Five years elapsed since the curator emeritus of the Lepidoptera col- lection, the renowned Microlepidoptera specialist of the Hungarian Natu- ral History Museum, Dr LÁSZLÓ GOZMÁNY passed away. The festive volume of the journal Acta zoologica Academiae scientiarum hungaricae for his 85th anniversary was only posthumously published (BÁLINT 2007), which actually included the funeral oration (MATSKÁSI 2007). In the same year two commemorations were published in the journals of the two lepi- dopterists’ societies, where he had been elected as honorary member (BÁLINT et al. -

The checklist of the Hun- garian Microlepidoptera is complemented with further 50 species based on published records. Six- teen valid species names are deleted from the checklist. Several comments and remarks concerning the Hungarian Microlepidoptera fauna are given. Key words – Microlepidoptera, new records, Hungary, checklist. INTRODUCTION After the publication of the Microlepidoptera volume of the “Checklist of the Fauna of Hungary” (SZABÓKY et al. 2002), new pieces of information became available concerning the microlepidopterans of the country. Altogether 54 species are added to the list based on new faunistical records, taxonomic studies, and pub- lished data. Four of them are recorded here as new for the Hungarian fauna (Coleo- phora graminicolella HEINEMANN, 1877, C. pseudosquamosella BALDIZZONE et NEL, 2003, Elachista albifrontella (HÜBNER, 1817), Filatima ukrainica PISKU- NOV, 1971). Fourteen species names are deleted from the list. New comments make the checklist more complete. We take the advantage of this possibility and try to correct the errors and mistakes present in the original list and complete (and in three cases replace) the Hungarian names with the widely used vernacular Folia ent. -

Nota Lepidopterologica

Cephimallota angusticostella (Zeller, 1839) and C. crassiflavella Bruand, 1851 are two Pa- laearctic Tineidae species which have been recognised as well differentiated taxa. The observation of variability in the male saccus caused doubt about the status of the two taxa and prompted us to initiate a detailed study of the male genital morphology. In this study we found a distinct variability in the shape of the saccus only in C crassiflavella, and not in C. angusticostella. The differences in external and genital morphology are corroborated by molecular analyses (DNA barcoding). The morphological and molecular data are discussed in the context of the determined distribution of the two taxa.
Efter at have praktiseret denne nummerering i nogle år, droppedes dog betegnelsen "2. -
