Services
WM CRANE SOLUTION ENGINEERING SDN BHD was established in 2015. It was found by a team of ex-terminal staff coming from different famous ports in Malaysia, Singapore, China and Hong Kong. We have a professional engineering team combined hands-on experience of over 300 years in crane engineering with providing maintenance and repair services for cranes and cargo handling equipment. Technical functions include specialists for all relevant disciplines, including mechanical, structural and electrical engineering.
Over the past year, our staff has successfully delivered our professional services to more than 50 STS cranes and more than 150 RTGs in the Ports in Malaysia. Our main service targets are the ports in West Malaysia and Singapore.

Port engineering project planning & management
The WM Project Manager serves as the central coordinator and planner of the port engineering project by providing one station services including scheduling, manpower and tools estimation and arrangement, materials ordering, cost estimation and monitoring, work procedure creation and reporting. This system assures the highest standards of efficiency throughout the Project Management process from the beginning stage to the final handover.
The Project Management function is critical to meeting the time, quality and cost parameters of any Project, and it is crucial that appropriate actions are identified and undertaken to guarantee on-time, on-budget performance.

Maintenance and repair of port equipment
WM M&R services are available at varying levels and scopes, ranging from staffing to complete outsourcing of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of crane, and from off-site repair of individual crane components to complete on-site crane emergency repair. WM employs highly-skilled and experienced maintenance engineers, supervisors and specialists in all relevant areas of expertise, including automation, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and registered electricians, welders, machinists, mechanics, fitters, and riggers. All staff is fully certified.

Crane failure troubleshooting
WM troubleshooting team are familiar with all motor drive and control system, electrical system and hydraulic system of Port equipment. Troubleshooting with the most of common and famous brands are the key strength of our troubleshooting team.
The team members were used to work in the breakdown team of some busy ports. They were also trainned by the OEM. Their experience and knowledge can therefore let them find out the breakdown crane problems and solve them in the fastest and the most accurate way.

Crane structure inspection and repair
To protect your crane investment, it is essential to perform regular inspections. Regular crane examinations will in the long term save downtime and money. It makes economic sense, but more importantly it will save lives.
WM provides crane structure inspection of your cranes with the goal of assuring safety, while maintaining the quality of the equipment during operation. WM also provides repair services with universal repair standard for container cranes.
WM’s crane structure inspection and repair are performed by experienced crane engineer and technicians.

Motor and Gearbox overhaul
The size of cranes’motor and gearbox are large and heavy. It is costly in both money and time and inconvenient to send them back to OEM for repair / overhaul.

With our combined hands-on experience of 300 years in crane engineering industry, our team are the specialist who can support and advise the clients with our knowledge and experience.
WM is open to share our knowledge and experience in order to increase the technical standard of the local workforce. WM offers on-site crane training for customer personnel in the safe use and maintenance of cranes and all related equipment. We provide tailored training solutions and refresher crane training for port and terminal team leaders and maintenance personnel in order to improve productivity and reduce workplace risk.

WM has good relationship with many OEM parts suppliers. We can therefore get the original crane spare parts more easily with a discount price. The spare part delivery time is also shorter to suit our clients’ urgent requirement.
In 2015, WM was appointed as the business development agency of Shenzhen Liantian Trade Co., Ltd for supplying industrial tyre in Malaysia region. Special tyre for the industrial equipment would be more available in Malaysia.
