For admission to the college, the applicant must go through the instructions carefully and fill in the application form without leaving any column.
1. Students seeking admission should apply in the prescribed format available Online on payment of Rs.150/- towards the cost of application for UG and PG Course.
2. If the candidate desires to apply for more than one course, separate application form shall be used.
3. Applicants have to present themselves along with their parents for admission at the time of admission the candidates should produce the following originals: ● 11th and 12th Marksheet ● Transfer Certificate. ● Conduct Certificate, if separately issued. ● Address Proof ( Xerox Copy of Voter ID or Aadhaar ID or Ration card) ● Grade / Mark Certificate with 5 photo copies. ● Community Certificate from a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Deputy Tahsildar. ● Income Certificate of 2021 – 2022 only will be valid. ● Soft copy of Recent Photo in USA visa format (CD) ● 3 Set of Photocopies of all the above mentioned.
4. During admission, the following original certificates will be collected and will be returned only at the end of the course. ● 11th and 12th Marksheet ● Transfer Certificate. ● Conduct Certificate
5. Admission of students from other Board Examination / other University areas is subject the confirmation of the University of Madras. Candidate would be required to prove his / her eligibility for admission by providing original and genuine documents in support of the claims made.
6. Admission to any course does not guarantee Hostel Accommodation. For Hostel admission separate application form should be submitted. At present, only Ladies' Hostel is available.

8. If the University of Madras refuses recognition, a student’s admission can be cancelled at any time during the year without any information.
9. The Fees shall be paid through Online or Demand Draft.
10. All certificates are subjected to verification by the Director of Government Examination. If a candidate is admitted on the basis of information submitted by him/ her, which is found to be incorrect or false on a later date, his/ her admission shall be cancelled and all fees and other dues paid by him/her shall be forfeited. The college authorities may also take further action as deemed fit against such candidate and / or his/ her parents / guardians as considered suitable 1. The student would be liable for necessary action as deemed fit by the College authorities for any wrong information filled in the application form.
2. Any student who is absent without the written permission of the Principal for the first five working days after admission, will forfeit his/her seat.
3. Madras University Students Free Education Programme. The Scheme has been instituted by University of Madras. The +2 students, selected under this scheme, are eligible for award of free admission in the Affiliated Aided / Self-financing Colleges for UG Courses. FEE REGULATION
1. Each Student who seeks admission has to pay the prescribed fees in one installment.
2. The fees for the subsequent semester can be paid within the first 10 days of the commencement of the Semester without fine or from 11 th to 20 th day fees can be paid with fine of Rs.5/- per day. After 20 th day Re-admission fee of Rs.250/- will be collected along with the fees due.
3. Fees can be paid through Online or D.D. drawn in favour of the “The Secretary, S.I.V.E.T. College” .
4. If any student discontinues after joining the course, he / she has to pay the entire fees for three years to get his / her Transfer Certificate and other certificates from the College.
