(*:We have not yet tested Foxtel Now as 95% of clients we have that want the ‘FOXTEL’ stations have the full Foxtel box and service – we are happy to support this service for clients that elect to use it. **: Stand seems to be a good service, however, we do not recommend it as ‘essential’ as you may get the content you need with other cheaper services &/or Foxtel – Stan seems to cost more than you would expect for the content on offer – if you look at just buying Westworld and GOT from Apple TV or Google Paly, (~$30per season) vs the cost of Stan, you may be better off buying the ‘premium’ content ‘as required’ from Apple/Google – this is all down to your personal/family needs…)

NOTE: ‘Advanced commands’ (skip forward 30sec, pause, resume etc.) may only work in some apps that have ‘bidirectional communications’ programmed in to support all Google Home/Chromecast functions – the short list of app that have this is:

e) ok google play Ed Sheeran on Dining room tv [ok google skip – ok google play morning music on Chromecast sound]

f) hey google how many feet is in 100M (and google can also convert teaspoons in to grams for cooking etc.)

g) ok google say that again (as she tells you 328ft and " fast...)

h) ok google set an alarm for 15m (this is good for cooking...)

i) ok google how do you say bake in the oven for one hour in German

j) ok google play double j (this will play from iHeart Radio - see below link for stations you can get for free) - ok google play triple j on main tv

k) hey google is it raining in London right now?

l) hey google please set me a reminder for 4pm tomorrow to pick up a bottle of rose on my way home from work.

Set-up your Netflix account (more settings, ‘services’, Videos and photos: link your Netflix account and ‘default’ selected user profile [for the Google assistant account for your Google Home] from here – ‘Manage Profile’ will appear when linked and you click this to confirm you are ‘logged in’)
