New Software Update

All Fetch boxes are in the process of being updated with a new software release. The update is called 2.25 Kirrama, and it brings you new and improved features such as:

9Now Catch-Up app refresh. New 'continue watching' feature for the Catch-Up app. Update to the app. Improved streaming functions. Various other enhancements and bug fixes.

Things to know The update will roll out gradually from 21st of October. Final rollout date is TBC. See the next page for details of the rollout schedule by Fetch Service Provider. The new software version is 2.25 Kirrama. Tentative Rollout Schedule

It may take up to 3 days from these start dates for your Fetch box to update to Software Version 2.25 Kirrama.

You can check your version at Menu > Manage > Settings > Device Info.

If your box hasn’t automatically updated as scheduled, you can access the update by restarting your Fetch box.

These dates are subject to change, so follow us at .com/fetchtv to receive updates on any changes to the timings. New Location For Hayu

This release contains support for some new functionality that is set to launch at a later date on Fetch boxes. Due to this, the hayu app will no longer be found in the Menu > Apps drop down menu.

It can be found at Menu > Apps > All > hayu on Fetch boxes from all providers. Catch-Up App

We have updated the 9Now Catch-Up app on Fetch with a new and improved user interface. You can now find TV series neatly ordered by seasons and episodes, to allow for easier navigation.

Watch exclusive on-demand shows from across all of Nine's channels, plus stream the channels live.

Go to Menu > TV > Catch-Up > 9Now. Or go to CH 188 in the TV Guide. 7plus

The 7plus Catch-Up app on Fetch now allows you to pick up and continue watching a show from the last point in time that you were previously watching it on 7plus, including on other devices. For example, you can watch half a show on the 7plus app on your mobile device, and then continue to watch the remaining half on 7plus on Fetch.

We've made improvements to the Stan app on Fetch including:

A new home page design for improved navigation. Quicker log in process for existing Stan customers, using a TV pairing code. A new single letter search function, helping you to find the shows you are looking for more quickly. Detailed Movie & TV show pages, with 'more like this' suggestions.

To see the updates, go to Menu > Apps > Stan and log in with your existing Stan account details.

We have improved streaming functions on Fetch as part of this release.

This will result in most users seeing a noticeable improvement in the quality of their streams on initial playback.

Other Enhancements and Bug Fixes

Refresh to the app, including branding and imagery refinements (available to customers from Optus, retail, Aussie Broadband, iPrimus and Dodo only). Live Now banner in Optus Sport will now show on the Fixtures tab for live games. Virtual playlist channels within the grid view of the TV Guide will now be identified with a small play icon. Assorted 7plus, SBS , 9Now & iView minor bug fixes.
