Academy Residences welcomes you to our unique and ideally located residential education and activity campus in the beautiful London countryside. We rent accommodation and facilities to visiting groups all year round, with capacity for over 900. We’re just 20 minutes from Heathrow and 40 minutes from central London.

It’s the perfect choice for your school or college, performing arts or sports team, training, meeting and activity events, or your special interest retreat.

Who are we? We’re run by a team of professionals from the international education industry. We specialise in working together with our clients to develop the facilities you need. Since taking over the campus in 2013 we’ve been investing heavily to upgrade and refurbish the accommodation, dining facilities, classrooms, sports, activity and leisure areas.

What’s included in your stay? All rentals include full board catering and the opportunity to use our fantastic range of university style indoor and outdoor facilities.

Accommodation is in single, twin and triple rooms, including capacity for 280 in twin en-suites.

Group Accommodation

Newland Park has over 900 beds with four different types of bedrooms in two residential areas:

Single (and some Twin and Triple) Apartments Located in the St Giles Residence, these are single, and some twin and triple rooms, in an apartment. Each apartment features 5 bedrooms, a shared common room (usually equipped with a washer/drier and fridge), a shared shower and a separate shared toilet. Bedrooms are equipped with one single bed, or two single beds, or one single bed and one bunk bed, bed linen, and clothes storage.

Superior Singles and Superior Twins Located in the St Giles Residence and the St Peters Residence, these are single or twin rooms with a wash basin in each room. In St Giles each block features 5 bedrooms, a shared common room (usually equipped with a washer/drier and fridge), a shared shower and a separate shared toilet. In St Peters each block features 4 or 5 study bedrooms on each floor, with a built in vanity unit and study desk in each room, and a shared bathroom with shower and toilet, or shared bath/shower and shared separate toilet. Bedrooms in St Giles are equipped with one or two single beds, and in St Peters with one single bed or one set of bunk beds, with bed linen and clothes storage.

Standard or Junior Twins/Triples Located in the St Peters Residence, these are twin or triple rooms, ideally suited to younger children. Each block features a different number of bedrooms with at least one triple room on each floor to accommodate an uneven number of boys or girls. There is also a single group leader room on each floor. There are shared showers and shared separate toilets. Bedrooms are equipped with two single beds or one single bed and one set of bunk beds, bed linen and clothes storage.

Twin (and some Triple) En-suites Located in the St Giles Residence, our en-suites are twin or triple rooms in an apartment. Each apartment features 4 or 5 bedrooms, a shared common room (usually equipped with a washer/drier and fridge), and a bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin in each bedroom. The rooms are equipped with two single beds, or one single bed and one set of bunk beds, bed linen and clothes storage.

Further details Disabled rooms with wheelchair access and en-suite wet rooms are available on the ground floors of some accommodation blocks.

Where are we?

Directions

Road – Take Junction 17 on the M25 and follow signs for the Chiltern Open Air Museum all the way to Chalfont Campus at Newland Park (we share the same initial driveway with the museum).

Public transport – Nearest tube/railway stations are Chalfont & Latimer (3 miles away), Gerrards Cross (4 miles away), Amersham (4 miles away) and Rickmansworth (4 miles away). Taxis can usually be found waiting outside all stations. We recommend travelling via Gerrards Cross as this is the fastest route to and from central London (just 17 minutes from Zone 1 on Chiltern Railways trains in and out of London Marylebone).
