Yarn

Fees include 15 minutes of skirting fiber, dry tumbling, washing, picking, conditioning, carding, two pindrafted passes, spinning, plying and skeins/cones of 200 yards (or more) finished product.

Note: The incoming weight of fiber must be at least 3 lbs. to 4 lbs. of at least 3-inch staple length fiber. Our mill is unable to process less than 2 lbs. of fiber into yarn. 3 ply is not available in fingering and lace weight. There is an additional charge for dehairing/vegetation removal. It is likely that dehairing will be required to process these types of fiber. Some fiber may require Huacaya or Merino blend to process properly. We will make every effort possible to minimize fiber loss, but the average loss of fiber is 30%. We will bag your clean fiber loss if you would like it returned to you.

Clouds, Batts, Roving, Pindrafted Roving

Note: A light blend: the original color of the fiber is obvious. A medium blend: streaks of the original color of the fiber is noticeable. A complete blend: all the fiber is blended.
