The Crystal for Each Rune Learn to Charge and Enhance This Ancient Energy The Crystal for Each Rune Learn to Charge and Enhance This Ancient Energy By Kat Ohren, Crystal Inner Circle Enhancing Rune Energy with Crystals Each of the ancient runes is associated with a particular crystal that can enhance its energy. This is especially helpful if you like to wear or carry specific runes. You can leave a cleansed and charged crystal next to or in a bag with a rune overnight to give its properties an added boost. This can also be beneficial for the crystal as well for use in crystal healing. They work together cohesively to share and build positive healing energy to assist you throughout your daily life. You can also purchase rune sets made from crystals. It’s most common you will find a complete Rose Quartz set, or some other particular crystal. In these cases, the sets are used for specific purposes. Since Rose Quartz is the crystal of love, for example, it is great for divination in matters of the heart and emotional issues. Whereas a crystal rune set made from Aventurine, a stone of prosperity and luck, would be great for readings that have to do with finances. Author Karl Hans Welz believes that a set where each rune matches its crystal is best. As he says, “For the most effective work with crystals in Rune Magic, you need a set of crystals, which are the most productive with Runes. Such a set has the Runes engraved on crystals that are specifically selected for the Rune concerned, and several other crystals that serve as focal crystals and transmitters. Such a set of specially prepared crystal is not cheap, but it is worth the investment. You become equipped with a powerful tool that greatly enhances your Rune work in healing, charka development, spiritual insights, and wherever strong surges of controlled energy arc required.” (Welz, 1984) Crystals can also be used alongside standard runes in divination. One of the purest vibrations you can find is in Clear Quartz crystals. Resonating at the level of an individual's needs, Clear Quartz also amplifies whatever energy or intent is programmed into it, and continues to broadcast that energy throughout the world and into the etheric realms. This may accelerate the fulfillment of one's prayers, 1 | P a g e Crystal Inner Circle intensify healing or spiritual growth, or simply allow the crystal to hold a pattern of energy long enough and strongly enough for the manifestation of a goal to occur. This makes them perfect for charging all of the runes and blessing them with some of your own energy. The best way to do this is by starting with a cleansed and charged Clear Quartz. Sit with the crystal in your hands for at least 5 to 10 minutes during a meditation session. Focus on moving your personal energy into the crystalline structure. If you plan on using the divination for a specific question, feel free to also focus on this question and repeat it in your mind throughout your session. Place the crystal inside the container or bag with the runes. Leave it there for at least 20 minutes, but 24 hours is preferred. Remove the crystal and cast your runes in the spread of your choice or one that fits with your overall needs. Alternately, you can pull one rune from the bag for your first answer. Use the chart below to find the associated crystal. Place that rune to the side and put the chosen crystal into the bag with the other runes. Wait a few seconds before pulling out your second rune. This should offer a further and deeper clarification of the first answer. This method all works well with a Three Rune Spread for Past, Present, and Future. The first crystal, which will represent your past, helps determine the rune chosen for your present. While the second crystal, your present, will assist in divining your future. 2 | P a g e Crystal Inner Circle Crystals for Each Rune Rune Crystal Fehu Moss Agate Uruz Garnet Thurisaz Sapphire Ansuz Emerald 3 | P a g e Crystal Inner Circle Raidho Chrysoprase Kaunan Bloodstone Gebo Opal Wunjo Diamond Hagalaz Onyx 4 | P a g e Crystal Inner Circle Naudhiz Lapis Lazuli Isaz Chrysoberyl Jera Carnelian Eihwaz Topaz Perth Aquamarine 5 | P a g e Crystal Inner Circle Algiz Amethyst Sowilo Ruby Tiwaz Coral Berkanan Moonstone Ehwaz Iceland Spar 6 | P a g e Crystal Inner Circle Mannaz Garnet Laguz Pearl Ingwaz Amber Othalan Spinel Dagaz Peridot (Rose, 2015) 7 | P a g e Crystal Inner Circle References Rose, M. April 02, 2020 A Guide to Online Radical-Right Symbols, Slogans and Slurs Produced by Centre for Analysis of the Radical Right Report Author: Dr John E Richardson, Centre for Analysis of the Radical Right Glossary Author: Dr Matthias Wasser, Centre for Analysis of the Radical Right Edited by Professor Matthew Feldman & Dr David Tucker, Academic Consulting Services Ltd. This work has been supported by Facebook. 2 Table of Contents Introduction………………………..…...…..4 Images and Symbols………………………..8 Language: Codes, Acronyms and Key Phrases………………….………………….36 Glossary of Far-Right Terminology………62 3 Introduction 4 Introduction 1 Extremist online discourse valorises, exonerates and so at minimum implicitly acts to incite violence against opponents and those deemed (genetically, ethnically, religiously, sexually, politically or nationally) ‘inferior’. Given that such goals are socially unacceptable, and often illegal, extremist speech communities need to camouflage their politics by either shifting the context in which they take place (e.g. private meetings, encrypted communications) or by coding and cloaking their terminology and symbols. Codes, euphemisms and veiled signs are therefore a defining feature of online extremist discourse.1 2 The use of such codes serves a range of interpersonal, rhetorical and political functions. First, codes help to ensure that communication remains within accepted (typically legal) boundaries. These codes shift over time, partly because what is socially and/or legally proscribed changes. Second, since codes essentially offer a new way to convey political extremism, they signal the continued advocacy of a political ideology for those able to interpret the code. Just as a party logo might change but will continue to represent the party in question, so too a new word, image or meme can communicate an established ideological commitment.

  • Symbol of Hatred
Information about the symbol of hatred Life Rune Other names: The “life rune” is also known as the Algiz or Elhaz rune. There is another variation of this symbol called the Mannaz rune. Origin: The “life rune” is the fifteenth letter of the Futhark alphabet, an ancient Germanic script mainly found in Scandinavia and the British Isles. The Algiz variation means "moose,” while the Mannaz variation means “man” or “person.” Uses: The symbol denotes the sounds [z] or [ks] in runic writing. Modern neo-pagans who have no connection to Nazism or other far-right ideologies also use it. Guido von List — an Austrian occultist in the mid-nineteenth and early twentieth century, who had a significant influence on the development of occultism within Nazism — founded an esoteric, occult ideological movement called Armanism. Von List included a symbol he described as the “life rune” in his version of the Futhark alphabet, along with an inverted version, interpreted as the “death rune.” List’s teachings were followed in Nazi Germany, where this rune was used widely to denote life, as well as health, family life, and the birth of children. It was included in the emblems of several organizations in Nazi Germany, including the National Socialist Women's League, the Lebensborn (an SS unit tasked with increasing the birth rate of "racially pure Aryan" children and later abducting children for "Aryanization"), and various other women's and medical groups. Use as a hate symbol: Among modern neo-Nazis this rune symbolizes "life" and the so-called "life force of the nation." It is one of the most common neo-Nazi symbols and is used widely by members of the Far Right in various countries as a marker of Nazi, neo-Nazi, and racist views.

  • Putting the Elder Futhark Into a Young Spiritualism: a Semantic Analysis of an Odinist Divination Guidebook
Corsetti, A. (2020). Putting the Elder Futhark into a Young Spiritualism: A Semantic Analysis of an Odinist Divination Guidebook. Curiosity: Interdisciplinary Journal of Research and Innovation, 1(1). LINGUISTICS Putting the Elder Futhark into a Young Spiritualism: A Semantic Analysis of an Odinist Divination Guidebook Ashton Corsetti, Associates of Science, Bachelor's of English- Professional and Technical Writing Emphasis (in progress)* Keywords: old norwegian, elder futhark, spiritualism, old english, runes Curiosity: Interdisciplinary Journal of Research and Innovation Vol. 1, Issue 1, 2020 The Nordic people embodied the Elder Futhark runes—the oldest-known form of the Germanic writing system—with esotericism (knowledge available only to a small group of people), seeing them as a direct line of communication to divinity. This mystical significance has been reintroduced to neopagan groups through guidebooks on runecasting, a divinatory practice in which the runes are interpreted negatively or positively depending on how they land. This analysis checks the interpretations of a popular Odinist writer against secular scholarship, evaluating for both semantic authenticity in the Germanic tradition and runic symbolism within Odinism—a modern religious sect based on pre-Christian roots in Northern Europe. All 24 runes are separated into three groups of eight depending on their relationship to the Old English and Old Norwegian rune poems, both of which are involved in the reconstruction of runic etymology. The findings indicate a range of ideological terminologies that either stem from intellectual obscurity or are anachronistic when compared to Germanic traditions. This illustrates a spiritual appropriation of the runic symbols rather than a return to pre-Christian concepts, thus disqualifying the text as a source of scholarship.

  • The Runic Script and Its Characters in Old English and Middle English Texts
Sveučilište J. J. Strossmayera u Osijeku Filozofski fakultet Diplomski studij Engleskog i njemačkog jezika i književnosti Monika Petrinec The Runic Script and its Characters in Old English and Middle English Texts Mentor: Doc. Dr. sc. Tanja Gradeček Erdeljić Osijek, 2013 1 Summary The aim of this work is, primarily, to introduce and describe the topic of the runes as found in the development of the English language. A true value of the runes lies actually in some of the preserved texts which were vastly created during the Old and Middle English period. According to historical evidence, the runes were used by various people since prehistoric times, but the traces were probably lost. The early inscriptions chiselled into the stone or wood were the results of extraordinary master work. Marvellous ornaments, animal images and prolific decorations, were just a few of significant characteristics, which made rune stones look tremendous and unique. One needed to be very skilful and of capable hand in order to make tiny and precise movements in order to carve a message, a magical charm, spell, or just a mere text, that served for individual purpose. The pagan tribes associated the runes with something magnificent and divine. The runic symbols are the representatives of the metaphoric interpretations, as was seen in the old Germanic mythology. This explains perfectly the mighty world of pagan gods and numerous other mystical creatures. It is important to say that the knowledge about the Old and Middle English period is in close relationship to the understanding of the runic system, because certain characteristics from an overall historical flow influenced the development of the runic signs.

The Planetary Runes The Planetary Rune Set consists of twelve runes with their own specific meanings, a male questioner, and a female questioner. Here is a visual list of all the runes. Rune Meanings Here is a list of what each rune means. Sun: Fire/ Passion Mercury: Money/ Ego Venus: Love/ Harmony Earth: Home/ Tradition Moon: Marriage/ Union Mars: Conflict Star: Gifts/ Talents Jupiter: Confusion Saturn: Beneficial/ Gain Uranus: Comfort/ Safety Neptune: Change Pluto: Negativity Ceres: Female Questioner Chiron: Male Questioner Divination Cloth/ Casting Cloth There are many different ways that the Planetary Runes can be read but they should always be cast on a divination cloth. The divination cloth serves as a carrying case for your rune set when they are not in use as well as a casting cloth for rune spreads and rune casts. As you get better at casting runes, you can make your own divination cloth. The most important elements are typically included with the casting cloths that come bundled with most rune casting sets, but you can add your own casting cloth as you see fit. Once you have mastered using the casting cloth that has come with a rune casting kit, or a casting cloth that has been given to you by someone else, it is recommended that you make your own. This can easily be done by taking a square, cloth napkin and drawing the directions and element affiliations on it with paint or a permanent marker. Another way for making a casting cloth is by sewing or embroidering the casting patterns into it.

It is written as an inverted version of the Algiz rune, otherwise known as the “life rune.” Uses: This symbol denotes the sound [R] in runic writing, which is similar to the Ukrainian sound [з]. Modern neo-pagans who have no connection to Nazism or other far-right ideologies also use it. Guido von List — an Austrian occultist in the mid-nineteenth and early twentieth century, who had a major influence on the development of occultism within Nazism — founded an esoteric, occult ideological movement called Armanism. It was used to glorify fallen members of the paramilitary organization the SS (the Schutzstaffeln) and replaced the Christian cross in obituaries and on tombstones. Use as a hate symbol: For modern neo-Nazis, this rune symbolizes death. It is one of the most common neo-Nazi symbols and is used widely by members of the Far Right in various countries as a marker of Nazi, neo-Nazi, and racist views.
