Dealing With Change, Rumours & a Revision... Chelmsford Mail Centre As Another Year Comes to an End! Written By Vince Thurnel Chelmsford Processing Rep It is probably a pertinent time to once again thank you, the membership, for the loyalty you have shown to your Union.

Although there has been vey little industrial action this year, it does not mean everything is rosy in the garden.

As per normal you have been on the sharp end of Royal Mail’s dash for cash, with every office either having revisions implemented already or on the verge of having them imple- mented.

We know the uncertainty these revisions cause and that’s why we are determined that the mail centre revision will not only produce savings for Royal Mail but will also give you a duty set which is both innova- tive, and at the same time gives you a reasonable level of additional earnings.

We are also confident that by entering a 3 year agreement we can deliver a period of sta- bility in the mail centre, as it is 8 www.cwuessex.org feature
