Join us for this inaugural travel opportunity with Dr. Carol Damian, Director of the Frost Art Museum. Learn about Mexican Artists in Mexico City!

Cost: $2,500 per person based on double occupancy; airfare not included. Space is limited. Travel eligibility requires a Frost Patron level Friend donation of $250. A portion of the travel cost will be dedicated to FIU scholarships to support student education in the arts.

Travel with Frost Art Museum Director Carol Damian in partnership with Tia Stephanie Tours whose founder, Stephanie Schneiderman grew up in Mexico City, lived and studied in Miami, and has a B.A. in International Relations from FIU. Stephanie was born in Cuba and has the cultural and language fluency to make for a perfect Mexican host.

Our base will be the Hotel Emporio on Paseo de ; days will include art talks, museum visits, architectural sites, gallery tours, studio visits, and meals with collectors, academics and scholars. Experience the rich traditions of historic Mexican art and architecture, the fame of the 20th Century - ists, the work and legacies of Frida Kahlo and , and the excite- ment that is the contemporary art scene in sprawling Mexico City.

Itinerary
