De amicita [...] is an impressive interdisciplinary volume of over thirty contributions [...]. The aptly chosen theme of these contributions is friendship in any possible variety and from any possible point of view, as the diversity of participating scholars dictates. In the trunk of the study area, Hijaz Asir highlands rises up to about 3,000 meters in the south near Abha, while at northern boundary of the area near Taif, the elevation is about 1,500 meters (refer to Figure B.1-6 and Figure B.1-7). There is a distinct coastal plain, locally known as Tihama, separated from the hills by an imposing scarp wall that runs parallel to the Red Sea along 700 km in the study area. Toward the east forms the peak of Hijaz Asir highlands, hills peter out further east to the interior, and give way to an extensive plateau covered with lava flow (Harrat) of the area, and very thin veneer rock debris and alluvium over a basalt and crystalline basement, which is frequency outcrop as knolls and low hills.

Konstytucja 3 Maja „Wiwat maj, trzeci maj, dla Polaków błogi raj!” Linia chronologiczna Sejm Wielki (Czteroletni) 1788 – 1792 Polecenie 1 Przeczytaj i przeanalizuj poniższy tekst. Pod koniec lat 80‐ych XVIII wieku król Stanisław August Poniatowski oraz obóz patriotyczny po raz kolejny podjęli próbę przeprowadzenia koniecznych reform. Na skutek trudnej sytuacji politycznej caryca Rosji Katarzyna II zgodziła się na zwołanie sejmu zawiązanego pod laską konfederacji – (decyzje zapadały większością głosów.) Marszałkiem został Stanisław Małachowski, jeden z przywódców obozu reform. Jesienią 1790 r. przeprowadzono nowe wybory do izby poselskiej, dzięki czemu obóz reform uzyskał przewagę. Od tego momentu sejm obradował w podwójnym składzie gdyż posłowie wybrani w 1788 r. nie opuścili obrad. Sejm ten do historii przeszedł jako Wielki gdyż , po pierwsze obradował ostatecznie w podwójnym składzie, po drugie uchwalił przełomowe dla historii Polski reformy. Obozy polityczne w czasie Sejmu Wielkiego. Podczas sejmu ścierały się między sobą trzy obozy polityczne: - obóz hetmański – na jego czele stali magnaci: Franciszek Ksawery Branicki, Szczęsny Potocki i Seweryn Rzewuski. Chcieli utrzymania dotychczasowego porządku i byli przeciwni jakimkolwiek reformom. Mieli poparcie ambasadora Rosji. - obóz dworski – było skupione wokół króla. Na jego czele stał prymas Michał Poniatowski oraz kanclerz Jacek Małachowski. Dążyli do przeprowadzenia reform w oparciu o Rosję, pragnęli umocnienia władzy wykonawczej królewskiej. - obóz patriotyczny – na jego czele stanęli Stanisław Małachowski, Stanisław i Ignacy Potoccy, Adam Czartoryski i Hugo Kołłątaj.

    Moscow 4 There are more than 3000 museums (and about 72 000 museum workers) in Russian Moscow region 92 Federation, not including school and company museums. Every year Russian museums visit more than 80 million visitors, 1/3 of who are visitors under 18 There are about 650 individual and institutional members in ICOM Russia. During two last St. Petersburg 117 years ICOM Russia membership was rapidly increasing more than 20% (or about 100 new members) a year Northwestern region 160 You will find the information aboutICOM Russia members in this book.     Part Two Feudal Institutions Introduction Amid invasions from abroad and tumult at home, with the decay and near-disappearance of effective government, the men of the early Middle Ages faced a critical problem in supplying their basic social needs-food, protection, companionship. Under such peril­ ous conditions, the most immediate social unit which could offer support and protection to harassed individuals was the family. What was the nature of the family in early medieval society? This is a question which must be asked in any consideration of the feudal world, but it is surprisingly difficult to answer. Few and uninformative records cast but dim light on this central institution; they are enough to excite our interest but rarely sufficient to give firm responses to our questions. At one time the common view of historians was that the family of the early Middle Ages was characteristically large, extended or patriarchal. Married sons continued to live within their father's house or with one another after their parents' deaths; they sought security against external dangers primarily in their own large numbers. There is, to be sure, much evidence of strong family solidarity and sentiment in medieval society. A heavy moral obli­ gation, everywhere evident, lay upon family members to avenge the harm done to a kinsman. This is one of the principal themes of FEUDAL INSTITUTIONS the epic poem Raoul of Cambrai (Document 31), as it is of many medieval tales. The characters in it repeatedly assert that warriors who fail to seek vengeance are dastards and cowards, not worth a spur or a glove.
