I have worked as a childminder since 1999 (previously a psychiatric nurse in elderly care). I attained a Child Development O level whilst at college. I keep up to date with paediatric first aid and also safeguarding training. I have had three children of my own: two daughters in their 20's and a son who is 12 years old. I aim to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment (indoors and outdoors) for the children in my care. I encourage learning through play and work closely with parents to meet their child's needs. I currently have National Trust, English Heritage and Abbotsbury passes, which I use for trips with the children when possible.
