● The group originated in 1955 as a group of friends who met in Los Angeles while at a friends home; Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. ● The name “Rat Pack” originated when Bacall walked in on the group of men and told them that they looked like a rat pack.

● Although the group didn’t always perform together, when one member of the Pack was scheduled for a live show, there was always a chance that one or two others might join them onstage.
