The facility has undergone some major remodeling, including an increased store area and a covered drive-thru for customers. It provides 21 jobs for the area. Truckers, travelers and hometown customers can sit in its cafe area and have a cup of some of the best coffee in town or order from the grill. The travel plaza is one of the first tribal ventures to have all LED store lighting and all new doors have LED low-energy lighting to reduce electric bills, another step forward in Chief Choctaw Nation Travel Plaza, McAlester Pyle’s vision of a better tomorrow for tribal members.
