RICHARDSON ANNOUNCES MAJOR ENDORSMENTS

Long Beach, – State Assemblywoman Laura Richardson announced an impressive slate of endorsements today in her bid for California’s 37th Congressional District.

The initial wave of Richardson supporters included Congresswoman Maxine Watters, Speaker of the State Assembly Fabian Nuñuz, former Speaker of the State Assembly and San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, former Speaker of the State Assembly and City Councilmember Herb Wesson, and Los Angeles County Supervisor Yvonne Braithwaite-Burke. Richardson’s growing list of supporters also includes Assemblywoman , former Lieutenant Governor and current Assemblymember Merv Dymally, Assemblymember Curren Price, Assemblymember Fiona Ma, Assemblymember Nichole Parra, Assemblymember Mike Davis, Assemblymember Wilmer Amina Carter, Assembly Member Sandre Swanson, Assemblymember Charles Calderon, and State Senator Ed Vincent. In addition to individual endorsements, Richardson received the unanimous support of the California Legislative Black Caucus last week.
