Dish Network now broadcasts CBS and NBC for Colorado Springs Customers

DISH Network Offers All Four Major Local TV Channels in Colorado Springs

Littleton, Colo., Feb. 19, 2003 – EchoStar Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: DISH) announced today that its DISH Network™ will broadcast CBS Ch. 11 (KKTV) and NBC Ch. 5 (KOAA) by satellite television to Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colo. The stations have been added to the local channels package which already offered ABC Ch. 13 (KRDO), FOX Ch. 21 (KXRM), WB Ch. 2 (KWGN) and PBS Ch. 8 (KTSC).

DISH Network launched local channels on Nov. 22, 2002, with two of the four major local channels. With all four major network channels now available, the local channels package will be $5.99 per month for DISH Network customers in the Colorado Springs and Pueblo areas. A Dish 500 is required.

DISH Network offers local channels to Colorado Springs in the following area counties: Baca, Bent, Crowley, El Paso, Fremont, Huerfano, Kiowa, Las Animas, Otero, Pueblo and Teller.

At the end of this week, DISH Network will offer local channels to a total of 59 cities and their metro areas nationwide.
