Logistic information for the I S3Food Matchmaking event + Asturias study visit 1. Introduction
The I S3Food matchmaking event will take place in “La Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura” (La Laboral City of Culture) in Gijón, Asturias (Northwest Spain) on Wednesday 19th February, 2020 from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm. 2. ASTURIAS - Getting there and getting around a. By air - International airport The Asturias airport (IATA code: OVD) is 14 km from Avilés, 40 km from Gijón (venue of the event) and 47 km from Oviedo. Address, webpage and contact detail of the airport below:

4. Venue of the I S3Food Matchmaking event The I S3Food matchmaking event will take place in “La Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura” (La Laboral City of Culture) in Gijón, Asturias (Northwest Spain). Moreover, from an innovation point of view it is noteworthy to say that this building is within the ecosystem known as Gijón Knowledge Mile covering relevant infrastructures as the University Campus, La Laboral, the Botanical Garden and a relevant Science and Technology Park.

Specifically, the event will take place at Rooms 1 and 2, Floor level, Theater entrance (indications will be perfectly visible from the main entrance of La Laboral)
Transfer from Gijón city centre to La Laboral City of Culture Public bus: There are several lines of the public bus service, named EMTUSA (http://en.bus.gijon.es/), that connects the city centre and La Laboral building (bus stop: Universidad Laboral; lines 1, 2, 18, destination Hospital de Cabueñes) or close places at walking distance [Botanic Garden (line 26, destination Deva), Funeral parlour (line 10, destination Hospital de Cabueñes).
